Background/Story

Unwillingly concripted into the North Korean army when he was 17. Conditions were harsh and training typically lasted from five AM to 10 PM. Servicemen were expected to grow food to supplement their otherwise meager rations between 700 and 850 grams. Leaves were limited. A conscript may, in rare cases, have been granted a two-week leave once or twice during his entire service. Service personnel were not allowed to marry, so conscripts typically stay single until they turn 30 (which is the point of 10 years, after mandatory service is over).

Geon despised his government and deserted after five years of service. He had recently discovered that he most likely had Hemophilia and had managed to be transferred a year prior to North Korea's air force, which allowed him something to escape in. He ran to South Korea and hid out in various cities that were under assault by foreign affairs; invisible in all the chaos. He hasn't seen his family in three years and is currently living hand to mouth (formerly as of now).

He managed to join the Diamond Dogs after a team went through his area. It didn't take him too long to decide on the safer choice of their base rather than fall back into the government's hands as it was only a matter of time at that point. He admired the Boss' beliefs and was aquainted with their ideals. He was worried about his individuality being supressed like every other government that slaps a uniform on your body and gives you a number. Though DD members usually wear a uniform, these rules are generally quite lax, especially for pilots. He decided to become a helicoptor pilot and accepted the fact he'd have to wear the uniform on occassion. He had a grace period where they had to watch him in case he ended up being a spy so he had a lot of time to himself to familiarize with his environment.

He was in the kitchen after the cooks were finished with it, making himself something to eat. While slicing potatoes, he cut his hand quite deeply. Joon (the chef and resident medic) saw the light on and came to turn it off but was greeted with blood scattered across the kitchen floor and countertop, leading to the back near the freezer. Joon drew his weapon, suspecting something horrible may have happened. After following the blood trail, he found Geon leaned against the back wall, clutching a pack of frozen peas over his bandaged palm. He was crying and hadn't noticed Joon standing there. Joon immediatley went over to help his wound and see if he could help. Geon confessed he had Hemophilia and was afraid he's be kicked out of the unit because of his condition. He begged Joon to not tell anyone and this place was his last option. Joon assured him that this place was for the outcasts of society, everyone had issues- whether mental or physical. He reminded him Big Boss had multiple personalities, Kazuhira Miller was a cripple with PTSD and so on. No matter who you were, you still had worth and this was not a government.

Geon respected Joon from that moment and the two became quiet friends, with Geon trying to imitate Joon's kindness. Joon also made sure that Geon had the necessary medication, no matter the cost because all DD members are important.

Personality

Has always been easy to spot in a crowded room and enjoys being different. Will become angry when told to conform to rules restricting his uniqueness. People tend to gravitate toward him and observe him as something fun to oogle, like something from a show. Geon's a very nice person but intolerant toward racism/bias. Deeply creative and it shows.
