To be the best is something that often either takes years of experience or being dealt with the right hand. At least, that is something that is accepted as fact by a Chesnaught and Delphox. Whether that fact is true is another story that the two don't seem set on working out. Growing up under two higher ranked Bestians, Alain was assigned to Astra as his working partner after splitting up with one of his exes. It turns out his ego was a bit much for him with Astra being one of the few capable of tolerating his bullshit alongside his Tyrunt/Eevee. It seems what brought these two together is their shared adoration for Alain kid and their annoyance of the Forbidden.
