He's just vibing.

He had a rough start in life with one of the creatures he lived with constantly talking down on and wishing ill of him. It eventually got to him to the point he snapped and reacted in such an extreme way that he nearly killed this creature. The two separated after he met the deity that lurked deep within the ocean and was blessed to be the next in the line despite vocalizing not wanting that. He left the ocean after that event and spent a few years exploring the Overworld until he eventually made his home in a field not far from a river. One day while he was out by the river a baby creature came across him, nothing like he's ever seen before. At first he was annoyed by it's presence and tried to get it to leave him alone but eventually adopted her. There was eventually an accident that would happen that ended his life, though he was never able to pass on and was revived by a necromancer.
