ABOUT: Angie is a hitman-in-training from California. Being that her soft personality belies her unconventional 'job', she is hardly noticeable in the grand scheme of things, and rarely is she questioned. It can't be said for certain exactly how she got the gig, but after leaving her well-off family for the city lifestyle, it is likely that she needed work, and work, Meredith would give her. Outside of playing the obedient servant and apprentice, Angie lives an otherwise normal life, soaking in the LA sun and spending her days shopping, at the beach, or in her apartment creating bizarre artistic abstractions. Despite being bubbly and at times, humorously snide (likely picked up from her enigma of a teacher) Angie has very few true friends. She must keep the other side of her life carefully guarded at all times, sucking away the energy she needs to make meaningful connections. On the surface, she is all smiles, aglow with personality and soft charm. Beneath, however, is a girl becoming increasingly desensitized to violence. With such an effective mentor as Meredith, Angie's charisma will become her greatest weapon in due time.

CHARACTER: Fanciful and almost dreamy in nature, but not so much as to lose her head completely. Long lost is Angela, the jaded daughter of wealthy parents; her world of danger away from home is, at least, an exciting one, a mystery-novel bookworm's paradise, and she revels in its majesty every waking moment. She puts on a ditzy facade on the day-to-day, but in reality, she is very intelligent. Her family was the kind to hire private tutors and educate her in the ways of numbers and figures, especially those monetary, thus her knowledge of finances is notably deep.

APPEARANCE: Having grown up in a family where appearances are key, Angie cares a good deal about her looks, but not to the point of being overtly vain and self-important. Her locks are fluffy and full, so she tends to give them a good brush and keep them down, or pull up the back into a ponytail while leaving a fashionable tuft between her horns to obscure her right eye. Her coat is shiny from regular conditioning and her golden-tipped horns are frequently polished. She likes to wear green because it compliments her warm fur, and whenever she goes out on the town, she wears her sunglasses with the orange lenses and a silver necklace wrapped twice over. While her sense of fashion is stereotypically 'girly-girl'—ish, don't think she can't pull of a smart suit when she wants to.

HISTORY: When she was still a very young child, Angie's father married a wealthy businessman, ensuring a life of luxury for the antelope. However, when she was an adult, Angie fully expected to inherit her stepfather's company, only to find out that it had been promised to a nephew of his, which quietly enraged her. Shortly thereafter, she told her parents over dinner that she wanted to find her own way, pretending not to be fazed by her stepdad's decision. They sent her off with a parting gift of 10,000 dollars (which also annoyed her; this sum wasn't even a scratch on her stepdad's empire) and she hasn't returned since. She bought a studio apartment in LA, hoping to earn money by selling abstract art pieces, but found the trade to be competetive and far from lucrative. She ended up sleeping around quite often and stealing from those she slept with, but this didn't go on for long; at the time, she didn't stop because her conscience told her to (or so she had convinced herself) but rather, she was cowed by the realization that she would inevitably end up caught and begrudgingly ended her career as a petty thief and heartbreaker. Somwhere down the line, she and Meredith came into contact with one another, and the two began working together. The exact details of their meeting are muddy, though knowing Meredith, it was likely not by happenstance they met, considering Angie's financial situation was far from private. Soon, Angie became a hitman-in-training, both to whet her thrill-seeking appetites and satiate a dire need for money. Angie was smart enough not to pester Meredith with too many personal (or even professional) questions, but over time became aware of the dingo's notoriety among rival hitmen and potential targets alike, though this didn't deter her; if anything, it merely added to the intrigue of her situation.

CURRENTLY: Angie is still an artist who is gradually gaining traction in the scene, just with a little extra on the side so she can keep that studio, her only real source of contentment. Her recent works have a more somber and moody feel about them, which is likely a reflection of Angie's souring emotional state. She is starting to have regrets about decisions she made in the past, both in her romantic and familial lives, though vehemently refuses to see her parents nor attempt a healthy relationship, thus keeping her in a sort of limbo.

MISC INFO:

  • Currently being trained by Meredith.

  • A big fan of seafood despite it giving her moderate indigestion.

  • Despite presenting herself as a bit of a party gal, she is not a heavy drinker and prefers light alcoholic beverages (such as spritzers and soda dashed with wine) when she drinks at all. Not only does she dislike the taste, but fears it making her too loose-tongued and vulnerable to those who might want to get information from her.

  • Meredith calls her Angel, a nickname she doesn't particularly like but would be hard-pressed to stir trouble over. The experienced hitman likely thinks of her as soft, though not necessarily weak.

  • Though in the heat of the moment she largely shrugged off her rampant infidelity and theft, over time, Angie began to regret that aspect of her recent past, as it has damaged her ability even to consider intimate relationships without feeling that same guilt.

  • Her relationship with Meredith is purely professional, but she has more than once felt the hedonistic impulse to pursue something more with her. This remains a daydream, however, as someone else comes into her life before she can act out an awkward confession and embarass herself.
