Prince Lucifer, Demon of Pride

-Lucifer used to rule over all of Hell alongside Satan, the two having equal power. After 2000 years of their rule, The Creator, Mother of All Beings initiated a challenge upon them. 

-Lucifer and Satan were both angels from Heaven that had not achieved their purest forms yet, and being sent to rule over a new land of sinners, The Creator believed that they should've been able to achieve these forms by now. Thus, she initiated a challenge for the both of them, as they had already developed a fierce rivalry, to achieve transformation. The winner would take full control of Hell, and the loser would be sent back to Heaven to receive further counseling from her. 

-Satan won the battle against Lucifer 2000 years after the challenge was initiated. The Creator, upon realizing that Satan and Lucifer were no longer angels due to absorbing the impure magical energies of Hell, refused to counsel Lucifer and cut off contact from Satan for hundreds of years after granting him the power of creation like she had promised. Lucifer attempted to fly back to Heaven anyways, but was barred from entering due to his absorption of impure energies, as well as his revoked angel status. With Satan's new proposed system of judgement, Lucifer would become one of his six underlings, deemed "princes". Satan assigned him with the human sinners sentenced to the sin of Pride, as during his previous ruling, his ego had been enormous. 

-Lucifer currently rules over a purgatory-like area, located in Hell’s skies. Inside, it looks like a much cloudier version of Heaven, with bright white skies instead of blue. Most humans upon arriving in this place assume they have made it to Heaven. Lucifer explains to them right away that that isn’t the case, although you can see the doors of Heaven from this realm at times when the clouds clear up.

-Lucifer’s realm houses a very small amount of human souls, as compared to the other six. Because of this, Lucifer treats his subjects as he would his children, and is able to spend time with each and every one of them.

-Although he appears to have a positive and humble attitude on the outside, Lucifer has a bitter, jealous core. He still longs to be back in his position of power alongside Satan, or even better, all on his own. However, after being dropped from Heaven and losing the challenge to Satan, there is no possible way for him to have that level of power again. Lucifer has yet to accept this fact.

-Lucifer is the most human-like of all the demons. This is due to him not having fully conquered his sin, which would help him achieve his true form. The only features that difference himself from humans are his wings and pale skin, which make him seem more angelic than demonic. Despite how angelic he appears, the magical energy of Hell has transformed him into a demon.

-Appeared to be very much human as an angel, but after magical corruption, he now looks to have Albinism. It developed over a very long period of time of being an untransformed angel “demon”, and is slowly deteriorating him the longer he stays that way.

-When Lucifer was an angel, he had large, white-feathered wings. After his corruption, the feathers began to fall out. In the present, he is still able to summon the wings upon his back, but the feathers have long since fallen out. 

-He tends to contact Leviathan and Asmodeus often in his free time, as the other three princes tend to work closely with King Satan. Both Leviathan and Asmodeus are okay with Lucifer’s discontent of Satan. Asmodeus already dislikes Satan himself, and Leviathan, although loyal to Satan, is completely understanding of why Lucifer feels the way he does.

-Lucifer has referred to himself and Asmodeus as “wing buddies” in the past, at least, before all of his feathers had fallen out.
