Backstory
Pepper was born in the far off Lily Swamps of Midveil, which is a far less charming of a place than the name would have you believe. Truthfully, that swamp was a nightmare for Pepper from the day she was born. Looking around for the first time, Pepper decided to look around the surrounding marsh grasses and a few tree stumps, but she couldn't get away from the surrounding swamp water so she innocently decided to take a dip in the lily pads. Little did she know what was lurking in the water their, hiding waiting for naïve animals to rest on the pads above for the taking.
Scanning the river's floor, Pepper suddenly noticed a dark shape coming towards her. Slowly it dawned on her to run with a shot of adrenaline pushing her to the surface. But as she was reaching the surface, she smacked against the lilypads covering the sky. Trapped she panicked and saw the legs of a bird and pulled lily pad stems to move through the water. As she moved closer to the dark legs of the crane, it immediately shot into the water to grab her and crushed her left eye. But the bird ended up dropping her because it thought she was just a boring plant.
Exhausted and shaking, Pepper scuttled back over to her sprout and dropped like a rock into sleep. Soon after, she awoke to the cooing of a flock of birds nearby. Pushing back the spiral leaves, she saw about fifteen small, brown birds gathering nearby. Instantly two of them turned to look at her and then at each other, but Pepper was too busy trying desperately to bury herself in the ground like her parent sprout. But as the two birds peeled back the twisting leaves, they didn't peak at Pepper, but instead, one of them picked her up gently by her scruff and nestled her onto the others' back.
During the flocks travel out of the swamp, Pepper fell asleep only to awake in the middle of a green field surrounded by bird and someone seemingly shouting to her. Little did she know what was in store...

Best Friend
Blair is Pepper's first friend in midveil. She helped show her around and they love to play music together and bake and have fun! They also love to make get-togethers with other midveilers they know.
Farm Friends
Because they live relatively close, Popper likes to visit Pepper in his downtime. When they're together they mostly like to talk and lounge in the sun or stay inside to watch anime. Since they met at the farmers market, they share a booth and help with each others farms and stall.
