For my urban witch story! It’s a nice little comic I’d work on on the side of my bigger, more overwhelming and tiring projects. The story is just a slice of life thingie that follows many witches in a modern setting, them getting into arguably magical shenanigans and such! 

A witch’s familiar rat that she likes to shapeshift into an anthro form to help her better. With help from her magic, he can freely shapeshift between his feral and anthro form. At first he only shapeshifted at request when she needed help, but nowadays he likes hanging out as an anthro. Though he’s originally a feral rat, he’s fully sentient. It can be theorized that his past as a lab rat influenced or created some of his particularities.

He’s well versed in wiccan lore and knows all the meaning and uses for plants, as well as other ingredients and tools for spells. He takes care of a small garden behind their house. Personality wise he’s pretty soft, quiet and gentle. He's not very expressive, but not cold by any mean. Doesn’t like socializing too much. He gets super energetic when food is involved though! He loves the garden a lot and it makes him feel super peaceful. He gets along well with the other witches. His fav plants are succulents! His favorite food are salt & vinegar chips, which he prefers slightly over normal chips, and apple pie. His fav colors are yellow, green and red

He’s his master’s pride and joy! He loves getting petted by people he trusts, esp his master. Rowan and his witch's relationship isn't black and white to describe, but I'll say kinda like healthy codependent, queerplatonic relationship roomates. The witch tends to call the shots more, but she values Rowan's thoughts very much and he's pretty individualistic in nature & in general. -gasp- 

Note for artists: body shape isn’t pear!! He’s more of a slim rectangle. Don’t make his hips extra big pls. Also feel free to make the tail look thinner. His height is either 5’6 or 6’3 no inbetween
