Introduction
Kitty was known to be incredibly sweet, always going out of her way to aid others and often taking care of those she considered close to the best of her ability. She seems to contantly have a habit of romantising partnership, always focusing on the positives and as such, never letting go even when things seemed bleak. It also did not help that she usually doesn't like to speak up about such things, often being ridden off as her being shy or nervous.
After travelling around and honing her skills, Kitty ended up returning to Salem City to settle down. She realised that Salem was the perfect balance for her, busy enough for business, but not overwhelming at all. Best of all - nothing bad ever seemed to happen in that town!
Yet... Salem City changed. She couldn't put her finger on it, but what was once a welcoming community felt... closed off. Almost refusing to budge on it's mistakes. For instance, the witch trials back in the day seemed to be acknowledged by the town, even if they weren't public knowledge. They strived to do better to prevent similar atrocities occuring, but recently seemed to be repeating the history book. It might have been something to do with the current Mayor - there were certainly some objections to their position in the office, and some townsfolk openly admited to not liking them, even if they were promiment in the community.
Whilst Kitty never had the nerves to admit it... something was bad in this town - a shame she couldn't really do anything about it. For now, she lays low and avoids arguments.
...At least there was another group of people slowly coming to power, and they might have been a slightly better alternative.
Salem was never really the Mafioso's choice - it was the family's. Given he only truly understood obedience, of course they ended up slowly making a move there. With the power struggle, ample opportunties for business and well... deal with anyone who refused to submit. That last part is when he usually comes in, of course.
On the whole, the Mafioso has always been viewed by his family as always putting them first and focusing purely on the business rather than himself. Of course, this distant and serious exterior is merely an exageration. Whilst he may remain focused, a lot of people overexagerate him - he's actually rather easy-going. Usually by that, it's putting up with whatever antics the other members get up to, and he has been known to be a frequent mediator between the older and younger members. After all, family comes first, and if they're constantly at each other's throats, then frankly, they would all be screwed.
Of course, the family's history is rather complex, but it's his goal to ensure that they thrive - and take the lead if the boss should ever fall.
...A shame a certain townsperson might cause him to reconsider just what his purpose really is.

The Admirer: Well, what was I meant to do? I mean, if a stranger stumbled in clearly in pain, it would be the obvious to go help them, y'know? Though uh... well regarding the everything else... ahahaha... i um, actually have grown to rather like his company. Like yes, it was certainly a bit much at first, but I had to admit there was something... curious about him. And once he got that whole "I saved you and now I owe you" thing out of his head, he was still hanging around me... and I... have-a-lot-of-feelings-about-him-and-he's-actually-really-sweet-and-well-there's-also-

The Mafioso: ...Sweet. Very Sweet. Couldn't hurt anyone if she tried. It's honestly kind of sickening how she can be so sweet. She would do anything for you. Even me which. Well, she doesn't even ask you for anything, she just does it out of her own kindness and I don't know how she does it. Although I have noticed that she can... ramble a lot and never say anything of value. Still worth it to listen though. Although I sometimes wonder about the legitimacy she's... augh, she's just important to me, maybe somehow even more than the family! What else do you expect me to say here!?

Cherri's party
It’s rude to turn down an invitation to one of the Socialite’s events.
Kitty knew that fact too well. It didn’t help that it was Cherri who tended to host them as well - her closest friend. Cherri would usually end up slowly nudging Kitty along, and well… this invitation was no exception. Usually, she would stand by, only to hide in the back and pray that the event would end quickly.
At least this time, she didn’t have to go alone.
All kinds of people end up at Cherri’s party, usually other officials within the city and anyone with a slight hit of power. This naturally extended to some of the other mafia members - including the Godfather. However, the Mafioso and Consigliere would usually end up attending in his place - something he considered a privilege, even if he never really saw eye to eye with anyone. Probably might be something to do with him being stone faced and distant. It’s certainly off putting to the townsfolk…
Due to Kitty constantly hiding away, they never really got to interact much at previous events but given their… friendship… The Mafioso thought it would be nice to maybe ask Kitty if she could join him for the evening. I mean, it’s something a bit nicer than spending nights tracking down this “coven” and trying to make sense of their ways. Of course, Kitty had an invitation already but… well, maybe it would be nice to have someone handsome and strong to protect her… maybe they would even- wait protect her from what exactly!?
Either way, the pair went along. Together. Kitty even managed to assemble a fresh outfit for the occasion - maybe taking some slight inspiration from him…
The event went incredibly well. Feeling a bit more comfortable with him, Kitty found herself in a peculiar world… which only seemed to cement her view on the folksfolk as well. She also ended up having a proper conversation with the Consigliere after he tried to pay her off to help with the Mafioso’s self-perceived debt. Still not a fan of the guy, but at least he was… friendly.
Of course, their dynamic caught the attention of some people. It was unusual to even see Kitty’s face throughout the thing, and people swore they saw the Mafioso smile multiple time throughout the evening. Of course, Cherri was a bit… iffy regarding this. Given her history with the mafia, she didn’t like the way that her closest friend was being so close with him. So naturally when Kitty left for a moment, Cherri confronted him about it. Things got heated quickly, and when Kitty came back, she immediately went to his side. When she asked if she was okay, all he could manage was putting his arm on her shoulder and grumble the following:
“C’mon Darling, we’re leaving.”
The Admirer: …D-Darling!? I um… w-what did he mean like that! That’s not a word any person can use! I mean, there’s different ways one could use that word but the common way would usually be in… a…
…Oh my gosh. Does he actually mean it that way…
The Mafioso: Miss Belle has got to stop putting her nose in other people’s business. She may be concerned, but believe me I am too. Even if her reason is she doesn’t like having her around me which… hm… Look- whatever she says, she has no right to be so disrespectful! She invited the boss for goodness sake, and he let me represent him… for someone in her position, she ought to be careful who hears her… I’ve seen it happen before with Constance, the same’ll happen if she aint careful.

Trivia
- They can be referred to their respective names and roles interchangeably. Usually, I refer to Kitty as Kitty, but the Mafioso as the Mafioso. Feel free to use either their real names (Kitty/Matthew), their role ands (Admirer/Mafioso) or both interchangeably!
- Despite being the first to fall for her, it actually took him... ages to realise that the emotions he was feeling was actually love. It literally took the Consort spelling it out for him to actually realise (and even then he wasn't convinced)
- Kitty's biggest habit is asking for his coat. He usually ends up giving it to her and she wears it. Is it way too big for her? Yes. Does the Mafioso enjoy it? He says he doesn't and acts annoyed but can't help but smile.
- It's been noted that the Mafioso rarely seems to geniunely smile, with most times he is seen timing, he looks as if he's forcing it incredibly hard. When he's around Kitty though, it seems to be one of few times he actually smiles for real.
- Kitty isn't exactly the biggest fan of his lifestyle, but also knows it's not something he can shrug off easily. Likewise, the Mafioso respects this opinion, and usually avoids putting her in danger where he can. Though if anything would occur, he knows he would gladly kill just to make sure she's safe. He already does for the boss, what's one more person to die for?
- Despite having more experience with relationships, the Mafioso really has no clue what he's doing aside from keeping her close. He's been known to flirt with her, but he freezes up the instant Kitty responds back. The same occurs for any form of affection Kitty shows. Of course, this has gotten better over their relationship.
- That being said though, Kitty's responses can vary from spewing all kinds of lovey-dovey nonsense (/pos) to freezing up. Her main means of affection though? Spoiling him :)
- One of the Mafioso's biggest fears is hurting Kitty. He's so used to hurting others it's almost second nature. He also has a habit of constantly asking Kitty if something is okay. It can be grating sometimes...
Mutual relations
The Socialite (Cherri)
When Kitty came back to Salem City, she was overwhelmed and... a bit upset by how much everything had changed. At least one thing hadn't - and that was Cherri! They've been close for years, often exchanging letters whilst Kitty was on her adventures, whilst Cherri tended to the bakery that she eventually got full ownership of. Of course, some people wonder if they've only became so close because they were so scared of losing each other. Cherri's had numerous issues in the past being used and abused, often causing to give what Kitty describes as "tough love", whilst Kitty has always struggled to maintain relationships, and can heavily idealise romantic ones... at least they have each other's backs.
Meanwhile, Cherri doesn't like Matthew. At all. Given that the mafia has strong control over her area, and she's usually the one having to pay "protection fees", she has a massive dislike, yet fear of them. Cherri and Matthew has met a handful of times, and usually in the context of business. Despite her dislike though... she can't deny Matthew hasn't really done anything to her, specifically. In Matthew's eyes, Cherri is just someone to do business with. However, this tension usually shows as Cherri refusing to budge in her views, and Matthew just... shrugging it off. At least she can make an excellent pie...
The Consort (Constance)
Constance was one of the first of the family which Kitty met - mainly due to her frequenting the tailor shop quite a bit. Kitty wasn't the biggest fan of her at first due constantly wanting to get on with things and always needing to get her opinion out there. As Kitty and Matthew got more close though, Constance started to become more of a frequent occurance, much to her dismay. However, once she got past the bossiness... Constance is actually really insightful, often pointing out information and details Kitty hadn't even thought of. Plus she knows a lot about Matthew's interests. Maybe too much information at times... Kitty has no clue how she does the work she does, and frankly isn't the biggest fan of it. However, so long as Constance is enjoying it, then she can't see no harm with it.
Most of the family rode Constance off as being immature and very likely to get them killed. It didn't help as well that she and Sigmund just wouldn't see eye to eye, and given that he was far more trusted than her, this just left her frustrated. Matthew, however, tried to hear her out and understand her view point. Given that he was constantly used to being between the boss and his advisor, this position was familar to him and as such, the pair were able to form a... friendship? It's difficult to describe it, but that's probably the best term for it. There was a point where he would be a semi-frequent client of hers, though this was primarily for exploration and has primarily cooled down since.
The Consiglieres (Sigmund & Cornelia)
Kitty isn't super familar with Sigmund and Cornelia. Most of what she knows come from Cherri, and Cherri can't stand them. She thinks Sigmund is too "up his own arse" and Cornelia... worst she is, is a bit childish. In Kitty's eyes though she... doesn't think they're that bad? Sigmund's a bit off, after the whole incident with Matthew he insisted on paying his percieved debt which. Didn't work. Either way, whilst Sigmund isn't super fond of Kitty, he respects Matthew for his choices, and feels Kitty is a very suitable choice. So long as she doesn't break his break, of course. It also helps that Kitty and Cornelia get on really well when they do interact with each other.
Given that Sigmund and the boss are incredibly close - Sigmund is his advisor after all - it makes sense that these two would interact a lot. He often views Sigmund as being better than him, rather being an equal, and usually ends up going to him for advice on any matters relating to the family. Sigmund has always had a habit of viewing things objectively and without bias, which Matthew greatly respects and values. His little sister however... well, he's not that keen on her. It's primarily due to how she insists that she's his "right hand girl", to parallel Sigmund being the boss' "right hand man" - a title which shouldn't given lightly. Cornelia might considered a prodigy, but she can be too overbearing and airheaded at times... a fact Matthew is too scared to tell Sigmund.
The Disguiser (???)
Truth be told, Kitty doesn't know much about it. I mean, has Kitty ever heard them talk? Seen his face? Or Well okay, she might have seen it once or twice, and all she can recall was that they looked rather... baby-faced? Either way, outside of her constantly wearing a mask, it's actually really nice to her! The Disguiser always seems to have Kitty's back, often pointing out small issues or just. Listening to Kitty's ramblings. Of course, his distant nature (and constantly insistance of wearing the mask and not talking) often gets in the way of a potential friendship, leaving Kitty to consider it no more than a mere co-worker. A peculiar one, but one she would gladly stick up for.
Due to the boss and it's father being friends, Matthew and the Disguiser have always been close. They would often spend a lot of time together as children, given that Matthew never really went out much, and the Disguiser was often dragged along to meetings between the two gentleman. However, when the Disguiser and her father's relationship started to get incredibly rough - especially given his role in hypnotising others to do his bidding - and after a certain incident, the Disguiser seemed to... not want to be assosicated with him. Somehow, Matthew understood it's feelings regarding the situation, and they still remain close to this day. Why the mask though? They have a issue with constantly looking way too young and having people struggling taking it seriously... and he thinks it looks cool. Matthew rarely sees him without it, but at least they're most comfortable taking it off around him.
