Perceptive • Ambitious • Stubborn

A really strange and distant kid, hard to read when calm. 100% introvert, doubled by social anxiety. He's struggling to even attend classes, as places full of people simply scare him. Master at avoiding crowds. Mostly doesn't care about anything and anyone and has to be forced to do even simple stuff if he doesn't feel the need to do so. But, if he wants something, he'll do anything to achieve it, even if it involves hurting others. Really stubborn and egoistic, prone to revenge, but it must be really worth it. To friends he's definitely nicer and appears more talkative. He actually loves talking and usually leads the conversation. Cannot stop himself from touching sensitive topics and guessing people's secrets. Often sarcastic, likes teasing people. Actually wants to get along with them, but can't admit it, and would use roundabout ways, hoping they can get a hint. His social anxiety comes mostly from his sensitivity to lies, but even though he claims to hate lying, he often lies himself. Is fully aware that he's an awful person sometimes, but doesn't really know what to do about it. In truth, he feels really lonely, but his own stubbornness won't let him admit it or change the way he lives.

History

Touya was born to a pretty wealthy family living near Tokyo, as the second child, and the only son. Got along with his sisters pretty well and enjoyed his carefree life until he found out that his parents decided a whole future for him. He was completely uninterested in medicine (which parents had chosen for him) nor in being forced to do things he doesnt enjoy, which led to many arguments, mainly between him and his father. He also was really sensitive to lies, and being lied to by his father a lot, decided to avoid being hurt by it and stopped talking to his father completely. Also, over the time he developed social anxiety, for which he blames his father. At the time he also picked up his current interest in science, which he dreams to pursue in the future. Due to his high motivation for once, he's been considered a genius in every science-related subject ever since. He had chosen the high school he attends on his own, even though he finds classes pretty boring so he keeps on doing his own stuff in the science lab, and lives in dorms by the school, mantaining contact mostly with his sisters and his mother from time to time, who worries about him more than the fact he didnt choose the future they wanted him to have. In the spring of his first year of high school he made a deal with his homeroom teacher in exchange for no need to attend the classes. His true reason to not attend, more than boredom, is mostly the fact that he is really bad at interacting with people and would rather take care of his studies on his own.
