To most people, Morganite is... Nice. Too nice, arguably. Uncomfortably nice. In her work as an ambassador, she holds a very "Tumblr egalitarian" political mindset, that the Earth gems and humans should just stop hating Homeworld and should just stop acting as if the oppression of Earthlings by Homeworld is a thing. In someone's book, this will eliminate said oppression and bigoted mindsets of Homeworld. If everyone is just nice and gives each other the benefit of the doubt! You know what REALLY doesn't solve hatred, though? VIOLENCE! Those nasty extreme radical Crystal Gems are just the worst! They think VIOLENCE is the answer to their problems? Well, the real Morganite has two words for you. It is. It... Is. Morganite knows, to the depths of her soul, that Homeworld is an unsalvageable trash heap floating in space that only exists to take, and take, and take, until there's nothing left in the galaxy. She knows. And she hates that she does what she does. But there isn't a safe way out of Homeworld for her yet, so she's willing to play their puppet. For now.
