Cylauvell’s older relative, Karik is a very intelligent and powerful demon who in modern day has taken the role of managing an underworld crime syndicate. They fully consist of demons, but the mundane doesn’t know about this. Outside, they’re just known as the Lock Family (not Lok) and they think they’re also completely mundane, no demon powers involved whatsoever.

Used to be close to his cousin Cylauvell, but that’s if you asked him at least 200 years ago. Now, Karik’s just really frustrated and disappointed in him.
