Piernik preys upon the very foundations of his society: trust and community. He finds his favorite hunting grounds among his own kind, targeting those who appear weak, lost, or desperate, seeing their fear as a currency to be exploited. While his specialty is being a con artist that strips others of their coin and dignity, he is member of the Outlawed, so he never shies away from the guild's more direct "activities," such as ambushing merchant caravans.
His appearance may be his biggest flaw that he constantly manages; his white hair and the subtle, inherent glow of his red markings are always hidden beneath a dark cloak and a mask. He moves quickly, the tell-tale click of his front prosthetic paws signaling the arrival of either an opportunity or a threat. Piernik sells fragile hope with a sympathetic smile, his true talent lying in making his marks feel seen before he leaves them hollowed out.
Though a flicker of a conscience sometimes stirs - a ghost of the vulnerable glider he once was - he crushes it without mercy. In his world, sentiment is a death sentence, and every interaction, whether a whispered con or a violent robbery, is merely business.
