Background
Shinie was born like every starchild as a glowing ball in the judgement hall in the sky. Now, she had to live 10 years as such a being, and her experiences will determine her later looks. If she has a wonderful life, she will become cute and beautiful, showing her good experiences. But if she should experience cruel events, then she will turn out to be creepy or unsettling in her looks. But luckily for Shinie, she had a very nice life. Her optimistic nature helped her a lot with it too. And in the cities, she played a lot with the children from the streets. She played pranks on some people, but really enjoyed her life with nobody telling her what to do. And then, she went into the judgement hall again, so Orion can turn her into her new self.
She turned out to be a cute lil' girl, with a lot of pastel colors. And in her eyes, you could see the nightsky, which is extremely rare among Starchildren. And so, she went into the big world and got into the Staracademy, where she should learn to use her powers for good. But she only concentrates on her pop idol career, which started through YouStar, and she's not the smartest one. But luckily, she has her friends Mono and Crystal, helping her in tests and in school.

Personality
OptimisticShinie might be very popular and happy, but she doesn't care about school that much and loves to gossip. She's one of those people thinking that daily soaps and magazines will teach you about life. Also, she loves to be the center of attention, when she can make everybody happy (or at least try it). And when she's being ignored, she will become sad, silently going away. She's used to the city, where everybody recognized her, and she thinks it's still the case. But when she is with her friends, she will be the happy, optimistic ball of energy she's used to be.
