Born and raised in the town of Geln, Olivia worked most of her life at her parents' tavern alongside the rest of her immediate family. Neither Olivia nor her two sisters got to attend any sort of school, but this remained as a minor reason for grief as their family was relatively well off, thanks to the steady stream of travelers and merchants that passed through Geln. Work alone taught them about trading and expenditure, securing the sisters' ability to retain some independence later in their lives too - or so the family hoped. The rest was left for the sisters' mother to teach - afterall, Primalisa was a bastard child of a noble family. Someone, who had enjoyed many privileges of the upper class before marrying her husband and giving up her name for good.

Even when the war sparked in Yraall, their everyday life remained very much the same. Yet the chaos kept spreading from the eastern continent and soon passing soldiers became a common sight even in their little town. Atmosphere started to change for the worse and at this time 19 years old Olivia did her best to stay out of the harm's way. 

Despite her efforts, bad luck caught up with her eventually and during one of the encounters with foreign soldiers, she was taken away by the group's captain. Resistant and distraught, she tried her all to be allowed to stay behind in the neighbouring city of Aderlainn, but not much was to be done for the man was more than keen on his new catch. So keen actually, that later on he took Olivia as his wife in the man's new hometown, Synthasia. Faraway from home, the trapped koeeri resolved to do her best to survive even if the chances of ever returning to her home seemed slim at best. Afterall, things could be worse for her. As a compensation for her husband's high status (and as a security measure on Bast's behalf), Olivia was allowed to work at the royal palace as a chambermaid - a place guarded by soldiers and loyal local maids. Being observed day in day out wasn't too appealing, but it gave Olivia some time to stay away from their shared home and that was enough for her.

Her time in Synthasia has molded the adamant and cheerful young woman into a soft-spoken, yet sly opportunist who doesn't hesitate to use other people to a certain extent if they prove out to be any sort of help to her. She wishes no ill on anyone but the fear of being betrayed by her own trusting nature makes her often emotionally distant or simply a very, very sad thing. At her core Olivia is a caring woman, but grief changes even those with the best intentions over time.
