Echo was initially the only human child of both a human woman and the true god of Xziaphan, lovingly named Walter- though he would never admit it- he was raised with fantastic homelife.

Despite this, however, being raised as a staple of the human revolution, Walter faced great turmoils in the face of his existence as a human- and would only really find solice in his close human friend Richmond. Richmond was also the child of a god- and would guide Walter as his idol.

This guidance would unfortunately lead to Walter's family's death- a decision which was made by Richmond and carried out solely by Walter himself. After killing his father for his godly abilities, Walter would rename himself Echo- and run away with a now false god Richmond as the new ruler of Xziaphan.

From here, Echo would erupt in homicide, wiping nearly half of the population from the map in a blind rage. Dazed by his killings, he would finally settle into a sort of dormancy alongside Richmond- who would continue to tamper his mind with ill thoughts.

Eventually, however, Echo would find himself absolutely enamored with a mortal woman named Rose. Rose would convince Echo to turn away from his fiendish upbringings and become a better man- but despite his own desire to do so, he continued to torture Vince relentlessly beneath her nose.

Once she finally found out about what he was doing, she was quick to abandon him- a move that cost her life, and Echo's finaly strad of sanity as well. He would continue to live a rough and sadistic life next to Richmond after her death- obsessively seeking out his next Rose.
