Hyde-Lop Ludog - The Carrier

A rock gnome hailing from the country of Westmarke, Hyde makes their living as a private, solo mail-carrier and transporter, couriering small packages and items across the continent for pay. They’re damn effective at their job, using their connections with various different guilds and institutions to make travel smooth and on-time. Their clients are as varied as their cargo, but famously Hyde’s services were used to transport an important royal treasure from southern Vermeil to the city of Beacon, nearly the full length of the continent.

A number of years ago, Hyde teamed up with a young cartographer named Seeke Mundex to support her efforts of becoming the next great explorer. The two formed the Hyde & Seeke Exploring Company, built off of Hyde’s experience with long-distance travel and Seeke’s geographic and cartographic knowledge. The duo did well, mapping out some underserviced trade routes, but soon the company fell apart due to personal disagreements.

This is the part you probably know them best for. Yes, Hyde is suffering from lycanthropy. They’re a werewolf. This news got out because of Seeke’s inability to keep her mouth shut, and has significantly reduced Hyde’s customer base. But still, they were a werewolf before the news came out, so clearly it doesn’t keep them from doing their job now does it. Ugh. Either way. Business is open.
