"You Know, Like Cher?"

Ermis Kamaras, most commonly stylized under the mononym Ermis, has spent the lion's share of his adult life under the umbrella of fame. Discovered around 25 years ago for his unique, powerful, and malleable voice- In reality a form of avian mimicry that he began to develop when the bramble began to mature within him- the prospective star was swiftly taken into the hands of agencies looking to bottle his talent and morph him into a statement piece. And no one can say they weren't successful, with a loud personality and an even louder manner of dress, the avian often turns heads in any room that he enters in. Charismatic and flamboyant, with a trill of a voice and a bubbling laugh, the Grecian spent his early years polarizing the national, and later international, charts. Bolstering his relevancy in features and handshakes, and a cocktail of uppers behind the scenes that became a bit of an open secret, an 'all press is good press' mentality leaving him vulnerable to controversy.

But everyone's 15 minutes of fame has to come up at some point, and after riding the scene for over 20 years now a string of PR stints and messy divorces isn't exactly going to keep one above water in the cycle of relevancy anymore. He still carries a modest success and will always have lifelong fans who keep him stable financially, though as someone who used to be Famous famous becoming demoted to b-to-c-list celebrity has begun to stir up tension with his agent and PR team alike. The decrease in fame is a double edged sword, however, as outside of the whirlwind of autographs and live performances Ermis has begun to develop a sense of perspective, albeit in a 'I really fucked up' way. While he'll never concede to living a life of domesticity, he's in recent years been making attempts to reconnect with his estranged son Loukas, which is going... About as well as you'd expect it to.

Outside of his struggle with fame and the stoked flames of his personal life, Ermis is known in brambling circles as... Somewhat of a liability. As a brambling, the man has developed a lack of self-preservation, and there's only so many death-defying situations the man can find himself in before it starts raising eyebrows. He's smug about it, insisting such a nature's 'a given for a phoenix'- which.. yeah bringing aspects of his private self forward into his human facade isn't exactly helping either.
