Jem came to work for Lobcorp under the impression that it was apart of a prophecy. He heard that someone would banish a great evil from a place filled with hardship and death. He thought that he would be the one chosen for this prophecy. Of course, where she heard it from wasn't a very credible source, so now she's stuck working there, putting her life on the line everyday. It's not all bad for them though, they got to meet a lot of nice people, and has learned to cope within the facility walls. He still believes the prophecy is somewhat true...
It's probably not hard to guess, but he has a hero complex. She's very cocky and acts high and mighty, but she rarely gets mad at all and is very noble. They try their hardest to fight for others, putting themselves in danger to protect their friends. Even though he's tough and rugged, whenever he's around his boyfriend, he gets very flustered and humble. They love Jaxon very very much ❤️

They haven't always seen eye to eye. At first, they always had competitions to see who could produce the most energy by the end of the day. They started growing fond of each other, secretly thinking the other wasn't as bad as they thought they were.
One day however, Jaxon didn't come back from working on Snow Queen, leaving Jem worried and scared. He had to go back and save Jaxon from it, battling and proving his worth to it. In the end, Jem was able to save Jaxon, and from then on, they became partners.
Jem doesn't hate Victor, that's for sure. He's annoyed by him most of the time, but not enough to dislike him for it. Victor does do a lot of the heavy work, so Jem'll give him that. They both only get along on good days, other than that, there's not much to say about their friendship.
JJ and Jem don't meet up often because they're in different departments, but when they do meet up, it's the most positive thing you will ever see. Jem likes JJ for his unending optimism, and JJ likes Jem for her sense of justice. If you want a good support group, these two together are perfect for the job.
• He's very touch-starved, and Jaxon knows this fact well.
• Gets frequent nightmares of Jaxon dying.
• A very huge gym bro (the good kind).
