The Warrior of the shining force. The most handsome and, admittedly, clueless of the heros.
Jem is a really nice fellow; he's hardworking, confident and handsome at that! But the one thing that makes her weird is that she has a hero complex. They always think they're the hero and that they're in some kind of prophecy. He thinks Ken and co. are his followers when Ken is actually the one giving orders.

Will fight anything in his way without thinking. Dumb, dumb man
He was an innkeeper at Easin hills, with his father and mother running it. But is father had enough with her "imagination" with some dark lord and prophesy and kicked her out, not even 5 minutes later the dark lord came and stole their faces, leaving Jem with their own personal quest, defeating the dark lord and proving to his father that he's worth keeping.

These two are complete and polar opposites, and because of this, Jem has challenged Jaxon to be his rival throughout their journey together, even though they're on the same team. They have the most heated battles together, constantly fighting and clashing whenever they have a disagreement. But deep down, they both love each other, and are too emotionally constipated to admit that.
You know I got your back, man!
Classic best friend duo. Always paling around together and being stupid peeps. When the shining force was first made they both spend a lot of time togther, just kind of hanging around. But they always have fun times together.
Go get your man, meathead.
They both say they love each other, but really that's not the case. As much as Jem wants to like her, he only ever sees her as a good friend, and that's it (he only does it so people will think he's straight). Jasmine doesn't really like people like Jem romantically, and she can obviously see how much Jem likes Jaxon, he's not the best at hiding that. All and all, they're friends, and later on, they're comfortable enough to vent about their love lives.
