Ezkhael Fetre
About
Otherwise known to most of his world as the notorious thief Eclipse.
A youthful Estrell with trust issues, jabbing sarcasm, and a general disdain and wrath for the world at large. When he's not pillaging his species' society of ancient heirlooms and priceless treasures, he's salvaging a life laced in the shadows. He works with a small team of thieves, trying to 'reform' their society by striking at their most blatantly flawed values - or so he says. Really, he's resigned himself to being considered a 'villain' aspires to live up to that title, hurting a world that continues to hurt him back. Very resistant to change, though getting through enough stone hard layers in his heart might net you something valuable.

Personality
Ezkhael could be curtly described as, well, an a//hole. Brash, aggressive, untrusting, and usually putting himself first. His upbringing genuinely makes him believe that there's no such thing as good in the world - that those who tote virtue are deceitfully attempting to manipulate people who're too ignorant to see past them. That everyone is inherently selfish in their own way, so he has every right to fight for his own cut of the world. That's the only way he's survived this long in a world that wouldn't give a damn if he dropped dead in the streets.
He copes with his own sense of humor, thick with sarcasm and often at the expense of others around him. Turn those jokes around and we'll see who's laughing. He's stubborn, hating when people try to set limits on what he can or can't do - he'll gladly take that challenge and prove anyone wrong. At least you could say he's determined!
Likes
Meat
While omnivorous, Ezkhael is among many estrells who vastly prefer meat as a favorite food. A luxury only reserved for the rich, he savors any opportunity he can to snag a decent meal.
Chewing Things
He just...really likes a satisfying cronch. Helps him with concentration or comfort.
Warm Clothing
Especially when off his homeworld, as he's used to the scorching heat. But just likes the feeling of bundling up.

Change
Too often it's for the worse. He doesn't like unknowns; very stubborn in his ways, and tends to overreact out of fear, though he would never admit it.
Elitists
Insufferable, entitled, so much more well off then him, uGH. What's worse is that despite all the ways they ruin others' lives, it hardly ever comes back around to get them. Not if he has a say.

VERY particular about other people touching him without his consent, and pushing it may get you bit.

Abilities
Light Distortion
A common power for Estrells. It doesn't work on others of their species due to how they process light, but can use it on other species to create illusions/other distortions. Due to Ezkhael's limited energy reserves, he can only really use it for very small stuff, limited to changing his own appearance/appearing invisible/etc.
Bearer of the Spear of Prince Sornius
This spear is bound to his mind, and can be called forth at will. Incredibly strong but lightweight, and can transform into a secondary form based on the needs of the user - for Ezkhael, it becomes a set of mechanical wings, allowing him an alternate form of flight.
Athleticism
Despite his health conditions, Exkhael's trained for years to keep up his stamina and agility. It's one of the only ways to survive in his homeworld as things decline for his community, and vital in his occupation to avoid getting caught. While he works better in short bursts, a combination of his own strength, tools, above abilities, and team keep The Eclipse running circles around the upper class of the Estrellian Circles.

His mother. It's been a while since he's seen her since she's been in prison for a good number of years. In his opinion, wrongfully so. He did visit in the past, but he's trying to stay away from the place now.
Amiira Leckwing
Once thought of as one of the few people he could actually trust. She was a fellow thief alongside him, and though their relationship was very hard to get off the ground, eventually they built up enough trust between each other to try going serious.
Brooke Mavreik
Local estrellian private detective/journalist who often works with the police force to report and potentially capture Eclipse. He finds her efforts laughable, and makes it his goal to antagonize her for the fun of it. Makes it a tradition to curl up by the fireplace as he reads her latest articles of his flawless heists. Even if she has come close in the past to foiling him for good, he doesn't take her too seriously.
