Marquis Marq

Marquis is of medium height and slight build! He usually wears turtlenecks and slacks or skirts. He also enjoys wearing a dress from time to time, when the weather is nice. Marquis' hair usually has a bun at the back of his head, though the rest is hanging in waves down to his mid-torso. He has a beauty mark on the bottom left side of his face, and his lips are full. His eyes are a breathtaking green, and his hair is a nice dusty blonde.

• Marquis can usually be found smiling or grinning!
• He can also be found wearing his work uniform, from one of the local Italian cafes.
• Post-use of [ HARM'S WAY ], and through the veil that [ MASTERPIECE THEATRE ] creates, he can be found wearing a jacket that Frank wears.
• Marquis, in both worlds, wears a wedding band!
• Post [ HARM'S WAY ], when veiwed through [ MASTERPIECE THEATRE ], Marquis no longer appears to be smiling or laughing as much, at least when being veiwed from afar. If Frank is in the world with him, he's usually attempting to be his former self.

Before he had to use his Stand, Marquis was a very sweet and caring man. He would go out of his way to help others, and would do his very best to help anyone in need. He was kind, funny, and very sweet, especially to his husband, Frank Ocean. Post-use of his Stand, however, has left him only to remain within Frank's Stand. The Marquis that the Percorso D'arge gang encounters through [ MASTERPIECE THEATRE ] is quieter and more reserved than he would have been in life. In that universe, he is harrowed with guilt for not using his stand to save Frank's life, and instead lived instead of Frank. He is overjoyed to see Frank once more, though he knows it's not the Frank from his own universe. He feels extreme guilt upon meeting him, and found it hard at first to come face to face with the other. Now, he's trying to rebuild his emotions, and trying to get over his surviors guilt.

Marquis was a humble cafe worker from France, who moved to Italy to expand his culinary knowledge, and to just enjoy the scenery and surroundings. However, upon meeting Frank, his life changed. He fell in love, desperately, and found solice in the other's presence. For as long as he could remember, he was able to see strange, ghostly figures that came and went as they pleased, leaving him confused and concerned. He attempted to get therapy for it, until he was shown by another user what they were, though he could not pull his own forth.

Once he learned what Stands were, he sought out other users, curious to see if anyone else had his same issue, though he had none such luck. He and Frank became very close, and even went so far as to get married, before traveling around with one another. Though, at some point, they encountered a fight that they couldn't escape. In their quest to gain knowledge on Stand users, they stomped on the virtual hornet's nest. A gang of users who didn't take too kindly to them sniffing around where they weren't wanted.

A terrible fight ensued, one that Marquis and Frank were incredibly underprepared for. It was an impossible task, trying to defeat them, and one of the members sent his stand directly after Frank. In that moment of life or death, time froze for Marquis. Literally. A figure he'd never seen before, ethereal and flowing, right at his side. It's voice was wispy and calm. He was informed he had a choice to make. Would he remove Frank from harm's way, and take his place? Or would he allow Frank to take the killing blow, leaving Marquis alive?

In this world, it was easy for him to choose. Save Frank, of course. The love of his life, the man he was destined to be with. It was a clear cut decision, and as soon as he'd thought it, it was done. His body and Franks were swapped in placement, and he took the blow. It was devistating, and fatal upon impact. The only reminder Frank was left with was a scar right over his heart, risen in the form of a crecent moon. A constant reminder.

Currently, Marquis is alive in [ MASTERPIECE THEATRE ]'s ability. In the universe that Frank looks into, Marquis chose not to switch places in time, and instead allowed Frank to be killed by mistake. They are able to meet, but only when Frank is using his ability to join him in the alternate universe were he currently resides.
