When one ceases to pay attention, one does not survive. In a battle or out of it, keeping an eye on the enemy (or ally... you never do know) is absolutely crucial. Trust nobody... at least, that's what this pupper would tell you. As paranoid as he is battle-scarred, Mr. Mad-Eye has not let his guard down once in his entire cat-chasing, criminal-hunting life. Despite his gruff demeanor, he's truly a good boy at heart.

From birth, Mad-Eye Doggo was trained to be a military working dog. (He was appropriately named because of his natural lazy eye. Some people have quality humor.) With his parents retired from the career, only the best was expected of him, which he fulfilled for the most part, as he was never particularly good at dropping items as a puppy. As he grew older he became relentlessly restless and was admitted into active Navy SEAL duty.

Alastor worked a good three years of active duty before problems arose. Overseas while sniffing for explosives, a grenade was thrown from an unknown source, knocking both him and his handler back. While his handler was mostly unscathed, the dog lost his back left leg and had to be taken to a vet. After months of therapy with a prosthetic leg, he was transferred to non-SEAL active duty sniffing drugs.
