Summary

Guppypaw is a small and stout cat with red fur and orange markings with low white spotting. They have a snaggle tooth that’s beginning to cut a scar into their fur, bright green eyes and a short tail. She's been given a rough deck of cards by the Stars but only sees it as a challenge meant for her and her alone.

Personality

Innovative . Ambitious . Naive

Guppypaw is an ambitious cat from the get-go, nothing will get in the way of her dreams or the dreams of her clan! Despite her size and weak immune system leaving her lagging behind her fellow apprentices she never lets it get to her and instead claims it's the Gods testing her. She’s trying new things everyday to improve her clan, sometimes she has good ideas and most other times she has to be fished out of trouble by her mentor or siblings.

While cheery and optimistic she has her moments of frustration where she loses her cool and can be seen throwing fits about not being taken seriously or treated like a kitten. Most of this is usually thrown at the Oracles as she tries to claw her way out of her nest.

Story

Life began and nearly ended for Guppykit from the start, born nearly a full day after her siblings she was on the brink and had nearly taken her mother with her. Recovery took time but it was clear from the start that Guppykit was small and potentially sickly especially in comparison to her siblings, Flamekit and Stonekit, two kits who were plump and already active. As they grew, Guppykit grew too but at a much…slower pace, though it clearly wasn’t something that the kit was going to let slow her down, even over-exerting herself at times to try and do what the other kits did.

The Long Winter arrived and Guppykit’s world hung in the balance as she continued to stay in the nursery with her mother and father cocooning her each day at night lest the cold get her like it got others. Guppykit doesn’t remember much of this time aside from how empty the clan felt by the time it was over and how scared Lampreykit became. Guppykit simply recalls the time as a hazy time, sleeping most of the time and eating when made to.

When the Long Winter passed and Newleaf came, Guppykit stepped proudly out of the nursery–no bigger than a 4 moon old kit–and took the entire clan head-on as she gained a mentor in Spiderbite and a new name: Guppypaw. Her apprentice ceremony was topped off with a final shared meal with her mother in the nursery at dusk.
