Falling...Star..?

Closing up shop a little late as a favor for his manager, Edo grabbed his bag and headed out towards Zoett's small central park. It wasn't the fastest way to his home, but he always enjoyed the path. Close to exiting the park, he stopped in place to admire a star that seemed to shine rather brightly. It looked bigger than the others too. In fact, it..kept getting bigger? It was obvious at this point that whatever it was, it was heading towards earth at an absurd speed. Where Edo was standing, there was only one place for the speeding object to land - his face. A flash of stars is all this man saw before he was struck. Waking up hours later, Edo found himself in bed, freaking out about his last memories. Was it just a dream? He figured it might be as he got out of bed and looked at his mirror, eyes widening in surprise of his reflection. He was just in his boxers, as usual when he wakes up but he had a weird..floaty purple cloth wrapped around his neck. It's length was long and whats more, it was floating! He tried to take it off but it felt like it was attached to his skin. Edo was freaking out. He freaked out even more when he looked at the time..

Heroic duds..

Edo was lucky to have a job he enjoys, so he took his attendance and such very seriously. Even over weird floaty sparkly cloths. His mental state went from stressing over the scarf to dressing up for work. The scarf obviously stuck out, so he couldn't wear his usual work clothes. He opted to wear some old combo he hasn't worn since a school theme party, a blue vest and some dark shirt/pants. When he returned to mirror, he noticed the cloth actually became more scarf-like in length and form. Edo didn't have time to worry about this, grabbing his bag and dashing out his apartment and across the park.

Birth of a Hero!

Getting closer to the store he worked at, he heard a few gunshots and the screams of people nearby. Slowing down, he noticed all of that took place right before his store, and even worse - some of the regular kids he knew were being held hostage. The two criminals demanded everyone to stay back, and the kids were crying. Looking at them in such a frightened state, Edo's fist clenched. He was scared to even look at the armed thugs, but he was even more scared of what might happen to the kids. Unbeknownst to him, his scarf returned to the more wild form it was this morning - floating into the air behind him as he took steps towards the scene. The two thugs of course took notice and the one with the gun pointed straight at him. The scarf streached out in front of him at a fast speed - immediately taking out the armed thug. The other jumped at the chance to strike Edo, but the speed of the scarf was too much as a another blunt blow was made and both criminals were knocked out. Looking around at what he did, Edo was weirded out about what just happened.

He'd swallowed his fear and stepped forward but actually took the bad guys out? He wouldn't have much time to think about it as the kids that were held hostage went up to him, cheering and crowding him some. Spectators started to do the same. Edo would pick up his scarf a little, enough to cover half of his face. He didn't say anything and ran off, still rather overwhelmed about what just happened. A certain redhead looked at him run off, smirking some before she tended to the crowd. Little did Edo know she'd would give him the proper push to answer the call of being the town's Scarf Hero!
