About
Siobhan is a 38 year old woman living in Dublin, Ireland. She lives alone, as her only son is attending college. Her son visits her regularly, along with his boyfriend Felix. Siobhan has always cared a lot for others, and has often been described as "the ultimate mom." She is very patient, and hardly ever gets outwardly angry at people. However, she has the tendency to be a little bit of a helicopter parent since her son is the only person she has. Siobhan tries to be in her son's life as much as possible, but it's difficult because she works several jobs. She loves watching 80s movies, and watched them often with her son Emil when he was growing up. She also has a love of cooking, and learned to cook some of Felix's favorite dishes to help him feel more at home. She always wants what's best for everyone around her, but often neglects her own needs. Siobhan wouldn't hurt a soul.
Siobhan was fairly poor as a child, and her parents struggled to provide for her and her three siblings. However, she still managed to do pretty well for herself in high school and got a full scholarship to college. When Siobhan was 16, she met an older boy named Richard. She fell for him hard and fast, and they stayed together for two years. When she was 18, she became pregnant with his child. While Richard seemed to be excited to be a father, he split the day she was due to give birth and took most of her savings with him. Siobhan, having to take care of her son by herself, was forced to leave college to start working to provide for her new family. She left Emil with her parents for the first few years of his life, but she started hiring someone after she felt like a burden to them. By the time Emil was 12, Siobhan trusted him enough to leave him alone while she worked. When her son asked if they could take in his friend, Siobhan agreed since she was excited that he was getting close to someone else. Her son's suicide attempt almost broke her. She was at work, so she blames herself for not being at home that night. She became extremely protective of him after that day, and calls him almost every day after school. She lives alone now, but she's thinking of getting a dog.
