It is her fourth year of fulfilling her duty as a grim reaper.
Yin has light skin, brown eyes (but wears contacts), and average length dark brown hair (dyed platinum). Her figure is tall and light, almost weightless.
Yin is generally a loud and proactive individual and strives to be self reliant. She is not afraid to express her feelings but knows the limits. Despite that, she can still come off as rude sometimes. Once she fully believes something, it can be hard to change her mind about it. She can talk her way into or out of almost anything with almost anyone. It is mostly done through a little bit of attraction along with a shower of knowledge. Those who know her think of her as "cool", a "good leader" and attractive, but even with those qualities attached to her, she does have an immature side. Yin hates losing and will rage a little until she calms herself down. She also loosens up and cracks jokes when she is around those she is close with.

Past
Yin claims to not remember when she became a grim reaper and says it felt like she had been one for forever. As one of the youngest of the bunch, the others say she had grown accustomed quite quickly. She was taken in by some of the other grim reapers and has lived with them since.
About her job..
(Do you know Goblin?) Grim reapers lead the dead to their afterlife and are able to see others' past lives when they make physical contact. However, they cannot see their own or other grim reapers' past lives. They can make one remember their past life through a kiss, but that is known as abusing their power if it is not done for a good reason and with permission. Preventing death also comes with suspension if "balance" is not kept. People become grim reapers through suicide and are wiped of their memories as a punishment. In order to end their immortal life, they are to long for the names they had once abandoned.
As a grim reaper, she is able to use telekinesis, telepathy, invisibility (by wearing a hat given to grim reapers. Only would be visible to other grim reapers and to anyone she chooses), mind control, wipe memories and add memories. Mind control and tampering with memories require making direct eye contact. Tampering with memories requires permission from those of higher status.
Extra Information
- Only specific types of people can flatter her to the point of embarassment. This includes cute and gentle children, quiet tsunderes, really close friends, and those she looks up to.
- Yin is aware of the reason she and many others are the way they are now. She is curious about herself in the past but doesn't want to go back (which is why she remains a grim reaper).
- She had longer hair but cut it.
- Originally has glasses but sometimes wears light green prescription contacts instead.
- Biggest reason why she and some other grim reapers live together is because their pay is low.
- Looks more American than Korean in terms of makeup styles.
- Named herself Yin as she doesn't remember any of her real names. Her friends gave her her last name.
- Her nickname is Yeommie because her Korean name is 김소연 . . . you should get the joke.
- Has gone to school in America for a decent period of time. As a result of this, she also has an English name.
Tsuku
[ Notable Acquaintance ] Yin was one of the many grim reapers in charge of taking care of some of those who died in the sudden train crash on the way to Kyoto. (Grim reapers from the neighbouring country were borrowed as most Japanese grim reapers were occupied due to a recent earthquake.) All were successful in making their way to the afterlife except for one: Tsuku. Yin showed interest in Tsuku's story despite it negatively interfering with her work. Yin being someone who could take control of someone so easily is made Tsuku interested in her as well, so she stayed with her for a few days before taking off. During that time, their conversations were quite basic. She was very annoying to the other grim reapers and was eventually kicked out.
LOOKING FOR LINKS!
[ Ghosts or grim reapers only! ] I don't own the grim reaper concept as it is borrowed from the drama Goblin: The Lonely and Great God (which is an amazing drama by the way) I wish grim reapers were explored more deeply in that drama, so I made Yin as a way to give them more character.
