Fylsynn Amalith's Links
They teamed up originally only because Fylsynn threatened to bring Kilros to justice, if he didn’t cut him a part of whatever he stole.
Fylsynn’s relationship with Kilros appears very friendly, and almost familiar. They were never actually friends, more so just colleagues, but after working together enough, they got comfortable with each other. Lots of joking insults
Fylsynn playfully calls Kilros a variety of degrading nicknames, and Kilros is glad to return the favor. He calls Kilros devil boy, demon blood, and other insults regarding his race and status. Kilros responds by calling him a rat and a traitor.
Kilros doesn’t like or trust Fylsynn, because he clearly has no sense of loyalty or morals. Fylsynn, on the other hand, holds more respect for Kilros. In fact, Kilros’ exploits are part of what inspired Fylsynn to leave his life in the guard behind to follow his love of music (not that he’d ever admit that to Kilros).
Fylsynn admires Kilros, and is actually very protective of him. Fyl has been using the scrying spell to spy on Kilros since they parted ways.
He may never admit it to anyone besides himself, but Fylsynn is in love with Kilros, completely.
Fyl was the closest thing to a friend Kilros had for years. They were partners in crime.
But, for everything they did together, Kilros did not respect him. He viewed Fyl as entirely self-serving and disloyal. Still, there is some trust from Kilros' end. Fylsynn might be the person that knows Kilros the best.
He enjoys insulting Fylsynn playfully, because he knows Fyl won't hesitate to throw it back at him. There's a weird intimacy in being complete assholes to each other.
Kilros resents Fyl for previously abandoning him without warning when he needed him, but he hesitates to actually discuss that with him.
