Character
Outgoing and bubbly by nature. Despite her amiable personality, she can be brutal with her words when displeased or flustered, making others in the vicinity somewhat uncomfortable with her severe aura. She's working on changing that habit after it ignited an argument with her friend back in high school, an event she continues to regret to this day.
Harbors a lot of affection for Jae-Gyeong, but expresses it in the form of chatise. She has a lot of worries about herself and things in general, but rarely voices them as she doesn't want to worry her husband.

≫ is the only person Jae-Gyeong won't press his 'surgery over medication' argument on. He knows better than to argue with a nephrologist.

Maintained a depressive and unsmiling demeanor during the first semester of her freshman year. Shared a dorm room with Soo-Yeon (Junior year in Chemistry), to whom she warmed up considerably after a month or so - a contributing factor to regaining her cheerfulness. The two would sometimes go for fried chicken and beer, Aerin frequently having to haul Soo-Yeon home when the other got too drunk.

No one's really sure how such a vicious man ended up married to a pure heart such as Aerin, but one thing's for sure - he's head over heels for her, and she loves him back just the same. Jae-Gyeong frequently boasts about his wife's perfection to other co-workers(much to Aerin's embarassment) and enjoys asking her out on extravagant dates after work.
Soo-Yeon

Dorm roommate from university, two years older. A chemistry major, Soo-Yeon currently works at the same hospital as Aerin, in the department of laboratory medicine. She frequently visits Aerin at her desk to give her a cup of morning coffee. The two are very close like actual sisters, and enjoy going out on shopping dates on the weekend. (Jealous, Jae?)
Eunbyeol

Poor guy seems pretty tired all the time (not to mention fed-up with Jae-Gyeong's constant attempts to poke fun at him). He's usually seen at the daily pediatric conference looking ready to die of fatigue. Aerin appreciates his joint treatment when she refers chronic kidney disease patients with cardiac overload. If only Jae-Gyeong would give him a break...
Lin-Young

It would take a lifetime and several more to fully pay off the guilt and regret. Aerin frequently ponders whether is it truly okay for her to lead such a happy life, when her rejection was the indirect cause of Lin-Young's death. The only way left for Aerin to pay for her faults is simply to cherish her friend's living memory... and ask for forgiveness.
