Her childhood was horrible. After her mother left, she had no one to take care of her. Her father neglected her. He didn't send her to school either, so she was stuck on her own. She would disappear for hours on end, wandering her small town.
She eventually met ollie, who taught her how to read and write. Most of her education came from Ollie.
Akuji ran away from home to live with Ollie, who oddly lived on her own. They didn't go to school, rather seeking further education from Bob and Bill, a couple who ran a local diner. They gave them books and fed them most times.
Akuji and Ollie grew up together, growing a bit distant at times as Ollie had another friend she hung out with, while Akuji had no one else.
Akuji now lives with her half siblings, Jack, Ollie, James, Eva (and her demon boyfriend), and Huxley. She cares deeply for them and does her best to tend to their wounds and make sure they're okay.
James tells everyone of his brother, who is out to kill their mom. Akuji isn't against this, but she wants to see past the issue of Elijah, and wants to meet her mother to ask her why.
