Basics
Cloverfall is stern and stoic, often having an unreadable expression. She's loyal to Crowstar, despite their disagreements, but is getting increasingly annoyed with how Treeclan is treated. She was mentored by Sandywing, and went on to mentor Fallenscar. Cloverfall is relatively close with everyone in the clan and was an obvious choice for Crowstar's second deputy. She cares a lot about making sure apprentices are taken care of and raised well.

About
Early Life:
Cloverkit was never very quirky, even as a small child she has always been on the more serious side. There is plenty of room for kindness though, losing both her parents in quick succession hardened her but it also taught her that life is precious and it should be cherished. Very observant as an apprentice, she was quick to notice her mentor, Sandywing's flaws. Cloverpaw disagrees with Sandywing, but she adapts instead of fighting with her over it. Shortly after becoming a warrior, she's given her first and only apprentice, Crowstar's son Fallenpaw. During their training together, an accident happens at the Treeclan border and Fallenpaw is left horrified. Cloverfall keeps a close eye on him afterwards, always willing to give him extra time of her day and support him.
Deputyship:
When the current deputy at the time, Emberpelt, decides it's time to retire, Crowstar decides that the young warrior Cloverfall is a great fit. Emberpelt shows Cloverfall the ropes of the job then hands her the reigns. Cloverfall uses her skills to benefit Oceanclan in ways that the clan hadn't seen in many, many years. Her patrols are organised perfectly, picking cats who work together well for the chosen task. She remembers what others tell her, and she takes the job very seriously. Crowstar takes advantage of this, and often creates problems that Cloverfall has to clean up.
Comic Timeline:
To Fishpaw, Cloverfall first comes off as a hard-ass. She is confused by her unreadable behaviour, but learns that Cloverfall only means to look out for her. Cloverfall sees the problems between Fishpaw and Coralclaw as an extension of the problem that Sandywing and Coralclaw have with each other. As the comic progresses and tensions with Treeclan rise, CLoverfall becomes increasingly frustrated with Crowstar. When Oceanclan is accused of stealing prey, Fishpaw goes to investigate on her own and Cloverfall catches her trespassing. Frightened by the confrontation, Fishpaw flees the scene and Cloverfall heads further into the forest to find out what Fishpaw was doing.
Relationships
Urchintail & Gullflight [ Parents ]
Gullflight died before Cloverfall was born, and Urchintail drowned in a riptide with Deepwater when she was an apprentice. What she remembers of her mother is mixed with both positive and negative memories. Urchintail often bickered with her friends and clanmates, and she faced backlash for supporting Crowstar killing the rebels. She loved her kids though, and tried her best to provide for them even without Gullflight. Cloverfall views her mother as a flawed individual but wishes she could have known her better.
Smallstripe [ Sister ]
Cloverfall's firey sister, Smallstripe is very opinionated. Being orphaned as apprentices was really hard on the siblings, but Cloverfall took on the older sister role and paved the way. Smallstripe loves her sister and she dislikes Crowstar for the way that Cloverfall is treated.
Softbriar [ Sister ]
Softbriar is Cloverfall's more passive sister, her and Cloverfall have a strong bond. Cloverfall likes to spoil her kids, and Newtkit really wants to be mentored by Cloverfall. Softbriar doesn't have the same dislike for Crowstar that Smallstripe does, and thinks that when Cloverfall is pushed too far she will fight back for herself. Softbriar believes her sister will stand up for herself.
Petalsong [ Niece ]
As an apprentice, Cloverfall spoiled Petalpaw and while she didn't outright give her special treatment there was an undeniable fondness and attention given to her. Cloverfall is always proud of her, Petalsong is a very capable warrior. The two had a disagreement at some point, creating a rift and causing Petalsong to avoid her. Later Petalsong states that she regrets it and wishes she could have reparied the relationship.
Crowstar [ Leader ]
Crowstar is hardly an improvement to Autumnstar, a homocidal maniac Cloverfall knew as a kitten. For some reason, Crowstar is fond of Cloverfall and her skills. It is thought that Crowstar likes her because Sandywing mentored her, but Cloverfall is very different than Sandywing. Regardless, Crowstar has Cloverfall mentor her only son and eventually become deputy. Cloverfall tries to stay in her good graces, as Cloverfall knows that she can benefit the clan by being in this position of power.
Sandywing [ Mentor ]
Sandywing is Cloverfall's former mentor, the two get along but Cloverfall sees Sandywing as someone who creates problems. Cloverfall understands that she is the source of Coralclaw's mistreatment of Sandywing's own daughter, Fishpaw. Cloverfall and Sandywing are opposites, but Cloverfall tries to keep a cordial relationship anyways in hopes of being a good influence.
Fallenscar [ Apprentice ]
Cloverfall cares deeply for Fallenscar and wishes the best for him. She sees him as a victim of Crowstar's violence, and wants to be able to provide him with the support that he needs. She trains him to be peaceful, not out of spite for Crowstar but instead because she knows it's the right thing to do for him. The kid loves his mom, and Cloverfall knows that Crowstar tries to be a good mother. However, Cloverfall also believes that Crowstar will end up failing him inevitably due to her refusal to stop the violence.
Whisperleaf [ Friend ]
At first he was wary that Crowstar picked such a young cat as deputy so that she could influence Cloverfall and train her into being a puppet of sorts. He ended up being pleasantly surprised by how well she handles the job. Whisperleaf is a good friend of Cloverfall's, even though she is often being the mediator between him and Crowstar. They both share criticisms of Crowstar, and Whisperleaf helps Cloverfall deal with her since he's dealt with her for years longer than she has.
Fishpaw [ Friend ]
Fishpaw is a troubled apprentice that Cloverfall wants to help. The two clash at the beginning, but Fishpaw soon realises Cloverfall is a friend and not a foe. When Fishpaw switches careers, Cloverfall is open to mentoring her if she still wanted to be a warrior. Cloverfall is driven by both the duty to protect the youth and the kindness of her heart and she tries to stop Fishpaw from getting in trouble with Treeclan when she is caught trespassing.
