Overview
Passionate, optimistic, and strong willed, Willow is a force to be reckoned with. She's unafraid to speak to whomever she wants, though she tends to get frustrated with those who don't agree with her and has a hard time admitting when she's wrong. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and has a genuine love of life.

The first few hundred years of Willow's life were spent living in the woods of rural Oregon, born ready to survive she took a huge number of animal-like forms. She had no knowledge of how she got there or what was even going on at all and relied heavily on instict.
The first human she encountered was a red haired, fair skinned teenage girl whom she mimicked to learn more about being around other people. As she grew more confident, her form shifted bit by bit to become her own instead of a reflection of someone else.

After becoming more accustomed to humanity, she began doing odd jobs and fixing up an old cabin with solar panels and other necessities to protect herself from the elements. Generally well liked among her community she loved to be helpful and involved in festivities.
Kal, a young dream demon who had just ran away from an abusive household, ran into her on her way into town to pick up some groceries. Scared, sick and completely unfamiliar with an entirely new dimension he accepted her offer to stay with her for a while in order for her to nurse him back to health and get him used to this new reality. After getting a bit better, he just didn't end up leaving and the two of them became inseparable.
However, due to the scarcity of shape shifters, those like Willow are often sought out by those who want to research their abilities. Kal's dad happened to be on of those people. A few years after he ran away, Kal's family caught up to him. His dad sent to live with his overbearing mother and took Willow away to one of his labs where she was experimented on for almost three years. Eventually Eric was arrested for some very shady business deals and several human rights violations. The lab fell into disrepair as the personel scattered. It took weeks for Willow to be tracked down and released from where she was being held. The environment had become extreamly toxic with the lack of maintainance and substances left unmonitored, which led to her developing an extreme upper respritory infection along with newfound claustrophobia and an intense fear of needles.Adulthood

With time and care, Willow is able to build her health and confidence back up to the point where she's able to function semi-normally, though she won't ever look at a fluorescent light or doctor's office the same again. After recovering she finds a job with the local wildlife services as a forest ranger. Eventually she decides to reconnect with some of the techs from the lab, wanting to introduce herself as a person and gain a sense of closure to that part of her life. They become friends and remain that way. Her and Kal get married and have a son, Elliot, and they lived happily ever after no more angst huzzah.
(probably until the sequal story I haven't written yet lmao I'll get around to that)

Shape shifting
Species specific ability, Willow herself is unable to perfectly mimic due to a lack of pigment control.
Observation
Able to notice and pick up traits of those around her without much effort. Used to blend in more effectively with new groups/species.
Regeneration
Wounds heal extreamly quickly unless inflicted by silver. Cells do not degnenerate during mitosis which effectively stops the aging process. Body can also rapidly adapt to new ambient conditions and any foreign toxins.
Best friend, partner, and biggest supporter.
Kal and Willow become incredibly comfortable together over the years and do their best to respect and love each other. Kal has helped Willow through her hardest trials and her through his.

Willow considers Elliott to be one of the best things that ever happened to her and would 100% kill a man for him.

After being freed from Postfield sci. center as a result of Luke's actions, the two of them reconnect and become friends despite the harm they did to eachother. Luke was the first to be invited to her wedding and they talk regularly.
Hired onto the ranger team just before Willow.
Archie has proven himself to be a valuable teammate and friend through the toils of working in the woods surrounding White Rock.

Willow wasn't aware of the existance of Eleos until she had spent months outside of the lab. They feel a sense of loss around each other stemming from the sense they should have a bond where none exists.
