A long long time ago, there lived a normal faun named Rhieos, kyov Cidhoraet (simply, family of Cidho), who used to hold a prominent position in his village, Cidho. That was until an outsider woman was found trying to kidnap some villagers, and she was quickly jailed, sent to trial, and sentenced to be executed. And she somehow survived, so they tried executing her again. And again. And so on, until they grasped the idea that maybe she was a bit unkillable and decided to put the execution on hold until they found a solution. So she was jailed, and Rhieos was sent to talk to her in order to find out what she is, what her purpose was, and if there was some way to exact justice on her. That's when he learned she was a kind of immortal vampire, and basically execution, or really anything, wouldn't work because of that. So he kept visiting her every day to learn more about her. In summary, they fell in love, and hunters eventually heard about her being held there so he made the decision to help her escape. That was around the time he learned that her kind could create vampires, and he actively chose to leave his village behind and join her vampire family.

Upon returning to the vampire's home and declaring their love, he was accepted into the family with open arms. He was super loyal and helped them in any way he could, would help in kidnapping food and disciplining slaves, was the mortal face of the Blood Eater project and managed the mortal workers ( who were unknowingly helping in furthering their research), etc. Once he chose to leave his old life behind and live by drinking blood and managing slaves, he turned out to be pretty sadistic and unmerciful to mortals. This nature was pretty suppressed by the rules of the family and influence from his love, but it sadly rose to the surface later when the Blood Eaters revolted and ate/scattered his family. His lover was destroyed, and he could not find anyone still living from his family, so he went back into the world with a burning vengeance and goal to destroy every Blood Eater in existence. He also turned out to be a pretty big menace to hunters, killing entire groups in a bloody bath but being impossible to track down due to his still very faun-like appearance.

He blends in and pretends to be a mortal, just a regular faun, while hunting leads. And while Haerycs can only feel full from drinking their previous race, he goes after absolutely anyone anytime to fulfill his needs, not caring if hes never fully satisfied and that he may have to drink every day. He has absolutely no hesitance in killing mortals in terribly painful ways simply for his own entertainment. What he may not realize is that his family had actually kept him from kidnapping from the villages of his own kind or watching over the slaves of his race just out of nicety. This meant that he hadn't seen his own kind since leaving his village, so if he ever met one now that he was out in the mortal world again, he'd probably be reminded of his past life and be unable to hurt them due to his resurfaced morality.
