Rhieos's Links
"She gets so easily absorbed in anything she does, and it's hard to pull her out of whatever she sets her mind to. Most of the time I'm the one lecturing her on how to take care of her vampire body, which seems sort of backwards. Even though adjusting to this new life has been strange for me, it's impossible to miss the sun when a light like her is shining right by my side."
"He can be quite silly, and always gets that glint in his eyes when he thinks he's being clever. Truthfully, he is quite the handful. But I wouldn't want to hold anyone else."
"That Dimi is an immature coddled pet with stupid ideas about what's important in life. He does have incredible willpower that I could find commendable- if it wasn't purely focused on causing himself pain and being a silent brat. What a waste of a vampire. If Kal would just let me deal with him..."
"He's a disgusting murderer who revels in causing pain and thinks it's natural. That's all I know about him, and all I care to know."
"Not only did I meet an elder vampire, but he's a faun as well? I can't believe I had this miraculous encounter! He's a far better friend than that traitor, Dimi. Only thing he was good for was leading me to him. Right, I need to talk about Kalhicel. He has the right ideas about vampire life and found a great way to survive outside of his family. A little pacifistic for my taste, but I digress. We get along great otherwise. He is kind of... odd when I consider him further, though. Not just because he uses a weapon when his body should already be one, but he doesn't seem like he has any interests or goals... or hobbies? I guess another way to say he doesn't find anything important nor does he get attached. Might have to do with the long life. Should I teach him how to play chess?"
"Rhieos comes off as a loose cannon, especially at first. He's energetic and thrives when he can fill in the silent present. Though he has some questionable ideas when it comes to entertainment, he's a genuinely soft man searching for affection. I find it fascinating to watch him argue and act tough because it seems he's unaware of his own core nature. Likely, it's the loneliness and loss that's caged him. I wonder what getting him to be honest with Dimi would do for them both?"
"It's still incredibly strange seeing a blood eater who acts like he should. I sometimes like to test him when I see him acting independently, but there's never been a suspicious word out of his mouth. Or... wait. Scratch that, everything he says is suspicious, but in a completely unexpected way. At this point I don't even question his loyalty. I think he might need to take a step back, actually. Until then, I'll be the one keeping my distance and wishing Kal luck. Getting that loyal worm's help in eradicating his kind is the only interaction I want."
"I can't believe I got to meet another master out here! And he's a deer as well? Though he and Kal look very different... of course, no one could be Kal's match, and wanting two masters with his appearance would be too greedy of me. Anyway, Rhie is the only one here aware of my failures and experienced what my wretched peers had done personally. I want to do everything I can for him since he has chosen to let me live. He hates me with his entire being, as he should, but I think we're on the same wavelength when it comes to our goals? I wonder if Kal can become as passionate about violence as him..."
"That human was pretty helpful for the project. He brought crazy, ingenious ideas to the table out of nowhere and it helped to move research along when we hit snags. I thought he was dead, though... I should go ask him what he did to fix that big hole in his abdomen sometime."
"What? Rhieos? Where? I-I gotta go-"
