NOTE: There are two main story lines for my Captain, hiscannon one involving the actual events that take place in Far Cry New Dawn, and his story in Make and Effort (MAE) which is a No One Dies AU for both Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn. There will be notes for which information belongs to which story line.

Name: Griffin Myers (goes by Griffin, Captain, Cap. Will, unhappily, also respond to Rabbit, Shepard, Chudwaffle and Lollipop)

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Pansexual

Relationship: Gets into a relationship with Crusty after Far Cry New Dawn (Cannon). Is in a relationship with Rush (MAE)

Age: 21 (FC5), 38 (FCND)

Species: Human

Birthday: August 3rd

Personality: Doesn't care for society before the Collapse and agrees with Joseph with humanities greed and over consumption. Values people changing and becoming better over holding peoples past actions over their head. Hates having things kept from him. He acts like an old man when he really isn't. Is a flirt but not the kind of person to seek out relationships on the fly unless he is really interested in someone. Hates New York City and just cities in general, he prefers the countryside, so Hope County is a perfect place for him.  Has a huge thing for mountain men. Has a motto for being kind out of spite and despite how shit the world was and still is, he would rather not push his own frustrations onto other people. Genuinely cares for a lot of people, perhaps could be too forgiving at times. Has an attachment to Rush that has developed into romantic feelings and sees him as his sole reason to keep going. Has a lot of ideas for rebuilding America that doesn't involve repeating the US's last mistakes. Like's Joseph Seed and think he's a good person, despite everything the guy has done before he met him, probably would like him better if he took care of the Judge better. Is very curious about the Judge but tries not to be pushy when it comes to finding out who they are. Is a huge coffee fanatic.

Cannon Story: Griffin was born in New York City and spent the first 21 years of his life there. His childhood was pretty average as he grew up as an only child and spent much of his youth exploring the streets of New York. However, as he got older, he had dreams of leaving the big city behind and finding a new life outside the tall buildings. Him and his friends all agreed to find themself a place outside the city, but Griffin found himself left behind as his friends moved forward with school and new careers. He ended up getting a toll road job where he spent a lot of his days after high school with growing resentment towards the people he called friends. Stuck and wanting out, Griffin became increasingly depressed, his depression increasing ever so as the news grew ever so worrisome. His prayers were answered when the Collapse came, taking refugee in the subways of New York City, Griffin emerged with the other survivors and accepted that his family, and previous life, was dead. Now free to be whatever he wants, Griffin left New York to find a place out there where he felt he belonged and to figure out who he is. He ends up finding a group of survivors and wanders east, helping small groups of survivors and providing help as he goes, until he meets Thomas Rush, who gave him a new purpose. Griffin joins his team and helps rebuild the west coast, their mission taking them to Hope County Montana. After the train crash, Griffin was rescued by Carmina Rye who takes him to her mother, Kim Rye. Carmina and Griffin save Rush and build up Prosperity, hoping to save the county from the Highwaymen. After the Twins attack on Prosperity, Rush sends Griffin to New Eden where he is led to find Joseph Seed, becoming New Eden's New Shepard. He takes an interest in the Judge and finds out they're the Deputy and tries to convince them to return to their friends in Prosperity. Rush ends up getting murdered by Lou, leaving Griffin to die and the Judge taken by the Twins. Griffin rescues the Judge and he and Carmina convince them to go home. After the derby, Griffin and Anna May go to New Eden where they fight the Twins, killing Lou but leaving Mickey alive. Griffin and Anna May fight Ethan and Griffin, sadly, kills Joseph. At the ruins of New Eden, Griffin gives the peggies the choice to follow him or to stay and rebuild, promising to return back to Hope County after going south to Sacramento. Griffin ends up taking some of the peggies with him when he goes home. At Sacramento, Griffin gets shunned by the community Rush had put together. Although he gains Mila’s Forgiveness, Griffin is lost and doesn’t know where to go. He decides to go back to Hope County.

MAE: Griffin's story remains mainly the same in Make an Effort, however his relationship with Anna May is different where, although they do become friends through the events of FCND, Their friendship isn't as strong as it is in their cannon story. Griffin has a harder time getting the people of Hope County to work with each other, with the added fact of not just mistrust of New Eden, but of Anna May, the Seed siblings, and those who have decided to associate with them. Griffin, eventually, is able to get a semi-stable trust with every group in Hope County to attack the Highwaymen. The story would have ended with the Highwaymen's removal in Hope County and Griffin and Rush helping Hope County flourish again.
