Jude once worked as a exemplary young private detective in Catalis, but after a job went awry he was left traumatized and cursed. Jude decided to hang up his P.I. license, buy a boat and isolate himself from the world. Now he sails the sea spending his days reading, napping in the sun and fishing. He only come ashore to restock supplies.

Trouble has a way of funding Jude wherever he goes though and he can’t help but be drawn in by a mystery. His most recent case dredges up bad memories though as a young merphin whose acquaintance he made only recently does missing. Will Jude be able to find Zoa in time? Or will he relive a horror story from his past.
