History

The Fauna tribe are known for their masks and their beast like abilities. Once a new child is born they gain the ability of one element and get assigned an animal through a traditional ceremony where they call apon the child's past lifes or animal guardian to see which animal is either looking over them or lives through them. With the masks the people of the Fauna tribe gain the abilities of their animal.

Once that animal is discovered a mask is carved and enchanted in honour of that animal, this mask is given to the child once they turn around 10 so they can start practicing their animal abilities.

It is seen as dishonourable to be far from your mask, the animal is a part of you and is seen as something to celebrate. Those who leave their animal behind are seen as leaving a part of themself behind.

Each mask is made specifically for the individual and have no replacments. While the masks are pretty durable, they can still break and the animal conection can be damaged the more broken the mask is.

Oakley spends most of his time waundering the forest for resources or tending to his garden. Oakley gathers the fruit and veggitables for the village, he leaves the hunting mostly to others like Myung.

Along with his nature elemental abilities, Oakley gains the climing, the sight, hearing, and smelling abilities of the red panda. The red panda has excelent hearing and sense of smell but their sight is a bit poor.
