Loonwish was once a kittypet before coming to BluffClan. His mother had escaped her home and brought her kits as far away as she could. Eventually, Loonkit and Sapphire were spotted by BluffClan after three moons of traveling. He was the only survivor and she encouraged him to join the clan. She chose not to join but hoped her young kit would flourish here. Luckily, an older warrior known as Juncofeather was happy to take over as his caretaker, even as far as adopting the newly named Loonkit.
He was eventually named Loonpaw and clan life was fairly kind to him. He befriended a poor cat named Molepaw later on and started to look up to an older apprentice named Icepaw. There was just a great dynamic here and he was happy to partake. Even when he came out to his caretaker as trans, Juncofeather was loving and supporting of his son.
Near his warrior ceremony, Juncofeather had a terrible hunting accident where he fell from a high tree after trying to capture birds for prey in the limited leaf-bare hunt. He didn't survive.
Loonpaw braved the sadness to become Loonwish. He stayed true to BluffClan and even pursued Icefire, the older apprentice he had a crush on long before. It wasn't until he was recovering from a fight in the healer's den and Loonwish visited him that Icefire even took notice. But it took off, the two becoming mates and having kits soon after. Even with the struggles he's faced, Loonwish is happy with his life and couldn't wish for anything more.

- Loonwish is pretty embarrassed about his scar. It came from a bad hunting accident- a rabbit he couldn't catch that scratched and bit him. Lesson learned, prey is not so harmless as they may seem.

"I will always love Icefire. I know for sure he is my soul mate. But I will never be shy to admit his faults and right now, I need him to realize his stubborn drive is helping nothing. I wish I could fix what happened between him and Meadowpaw but he needs to do this on his own."
