"Goodmorning - Here's today's post!"

If you ask the residents of Withermore how long Mr. Postman has been a postman, people might not be entirely sure. Not that it is generally something the long-time citizen of Withermore cares about. The Eriksons has been doing their thing for quite a while after all too and they're good at it, so why ask questions? In reality it matters little when The Postman arrived, his job is very appreciated, even if there is not a ton of posts or newspapers in Withermore. It's probable also why they can get away with only haing one Postman. The Postman.

In reality the postman has been around for a while, which means he has had ample time making friends with others, especially the Family of Eriksons. While he is the closest friends with Ian, the second oldest son, The Eriksons trusts very much Ian with all their letter deliveries, which are important as it is their main way of communication with the rest of the town.

In a particular noteworthy instance, The postman was attacked at night at a full moon by a roaming and wild werewolf causing him to be bit. Having been ripped open, Mr. Postman was unable to get to the safety of home on his own before sunrise, which was problemtic due to the fact that he did not want others to see him like this. Ian Erikson, who got wind of The Postmans distress, immedeatly sought to help the family friend and laying on the ground was clothes and skin ripped off Mr. Postman's side, revealing his ghoulish insides.

Bugs. Bugs, critter, maggots and worms - all the kind of bugs you might find in a corpse, and definitely a Ghoul. Without the skin and cloth layers to hold them in place, they were spilling out! Ian, being surprised, but not unpleasant, helped Mr. Postman back to the mansion, specifically his part of it, to have the family friend patched up.

Important to know for anyone who wants to draw them:

Personality

The Local postman of Withermore is a very well-liked polite man if you ask about anyone. He's polite, very dedicated to his job and always offer smiles where he walks.

Aside a somewhat fidgety nature, when he stands still for too long, and a somewhat intruding gaze, The Postman is a generally and deep down pleasant man. He doesn't really have much that he worries about and has a habit of just acting nice and seeing the best in people. Sometimes he can be quite naive or oblivious, but he means well and he does his best to help, even if he isn't always sure he fully understands a situation.

Aside being your just friendly pleasant man, he, like other individuals in Withermore, carries secrets with him. In The Postman's case, he has no secretive ill intend, but is more afraid to be cast out, should people figure out his true identity. He's very happy about his job and very very happy about his residence in Withermore, as he loves spending his mornings catching up with the townspeople and wish others a great morning. So While tries not to reveal his own identity, he doesn't let that nervousness get in the way of being a pleasant man.

Significant Relationships

Ian I. Erikson
3607027?1561925425
Close Friend

Mr. Postman loves talking to others when he goes his morning route and Ian is absolutely no exception. Since Ian cannot leave his place, like the rest of his family, he communicates mainly with letters. This means that Mr. Postman happens to see him quite a bit and they have for the longest time had smalltalk and conversations in Ian's doorway. The Postman sees Ian as a friendly and probably a bit lonely guy and so he is very happy that Ian wants to talk to him, when he is around. Sometimes Mr. Postman even bring Ian his favorite baked goods from the bakery, since they are fresh in the morning and since Ian cannot go there himself.

After Ian helps Mr. Postman from the Werewolf attack, they get to spend some more time, as Ian insists the Postman stays at his place till he feels better. Being that Mr. Postman is already a good family friend and that him and Ian were already good friends, it was little surprise that they got along so well. While they both were very aware of Ian's crush on Odell at that point and Mr. Postman was very supportive of it, after Ian discovered Mr. Postman's secret, he found himself a bit troubled by a sudden very hard-hitting crush on the family friend instead. Mr. Postman of course took no notice while there, due to his somewhat oblivious nature and Ian's natural talent of being secretive.

Odell

Friend

When Odell first arrived in Withermore, The Postman was the first to greet him, of course alongside the Family of Eriksons, in a form of a letter. The Postman sees Odell as a peculiar, but nice person and he gladly answers any question that Odell or Jones may have, whenever he meets them at their small church or roaming the town.

Jones
images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTyvpcimVuvF5rf5fHfjxt
Friend(?)

Jones is a very wild man in The Postman's opinion. That doesn't mean that The Postman doesn't like him, they just don't talk all that much and he suspects that it might play a role in why. He can tell Jones probably has a hard time talking and opening up to others and thus he thinks it's great that Jones and Odell gets along so well.
