Fayette is a girl that's unsure of where she stands in life and what to do with it. She tries to take each day as it comes, but feels stuck, all the same. She tends to be broody and quiet, as well as a little distanced towards strangers, though she's always polite and friendly. She keeps to herself and doesn't have many friends, but tells herself she prefers it this way.

She has a love for games and gaming, and before she came out and started transitioning to the woman she has always been, she used games a lot to cope with her dysphoria and feelings, giving her the chance to catch a breath in the vortex of pain and confusion that surrounded her at the time. Now that she lives on her own, away from family, and is mid-transition, things are much better, though she still struggles with her past and worries for the future.

Due to her reserved nature, she hasn't had much experience with relationships yet. Previously feeling at odds with herself, she had no interest in possible partners, and didn't take the time to figure out her sexuality or interests. All this only happened after she came to terms with being trans and beginning her transition. Now, she would love to have a girlfriend, somebody to cherish and grow old with, but wouldn't know how to go about it, where to meet anybody, how to show her affection.

However much she may try to deny it, she is starved for affection. She longs for somebody to love her, to hold her, to cherish her and be cherished by her, which leads to her falling in love quickly the moment somebody is kind to her. It is difficult for her to process her own feelings, much less decide what to do with them, which only amplifies her distanced and reserved behavior towards others.

Once she rekindles her friendship with Selena, a girl she used to have a mild crush on in school back when things were still way too confusing and painful, she quickly falls head over heels in love with her, though she's also a little jealous of her. Selena is all the things Fayette wants, but also all the things Fayette would love to be. It's a difficult situation and even more difficult feelings for her to sort through. However, she cherishes the time they spend together and would love for nothing more than to have Selena around for the rest of her life - as more than just a friend, ideally, but friends is also a-okay, or so she tells herself, anyways.

Surprisingly, her attitude takes a complete one-eighty the moment gaming is involved. In-game, she feels like she can truly let go of everything that's burdening her, and just be herself. Thus, she can be passionate and loud and energetic, even around others and especially around Selena, and feel at complete ease while going at it. She is also capable of gloating about her success and mercilessly running Selena into the ground, long as it's all happening in-game. The moment the game is over, though, Fayette has a tough time holding onto that feeling of liberation and self-ness and quickly reverts back to her usual quiet self.
