Krysos Reedmarsh

Krysos is more or less a persona for me. She started out as a fan gem (Chrysoberyl).

I based Krysos in Sembia as it's the closest analogue to the Mediterranean that's available in Faerun, and I'm using her as a way to reconnect with my Greek heritage - hence her name (Krysos means "golden"), her instrument (the Greek bouzouki), and other such aspects of her character.

Her hair is, effectively, a fertile patch in which seeds are able to germinate and grow. She often starts seedlings in her hair, which she intends to plant - and thus she gets pretty mad whenever Bird picks them out and eats them. There are also a lot of random stray seeds that land there and germinate, such as dandelions.

Her voice is quite high and fairly clear. It has a youthful quality, and can get squeaky at times, especially when her temper flares. She has a mezzo-soprano to soprano range. A decent vocal ref is Leah Gastrow, particularly when Leah becomes emphatic.

Her szuldar are meant to resemble veins of ore.
