original concept
(name) is a trans woman looking for quick cash. Rent just went up and she doesn't want to lose her home.
She applied for a job she found out about through a flier: spending a weekend as a promotional model at a comic book convention. It sounded simple enough, all she had to do was play nice to the fans and smile for pictures. It didn't even matter that she didn't know much at all about geek culture. I mean sure, she had seen some anime as a kid, and watched a couple of superhero movies, but that was about it.
Little did she know that everything would go horribly wrong.
While out for a smoke break, she witnessed a con-goer attack another guest. A security guard tries to tear them apart, but they won't stop grabbing at each other mindlessly. Frightened, (name) hurries back into the building, only to find chaos. An unknown virus seems to be spreading through the convention at an unreasonable speed.
Her life has become just like a comic book, and she has no choice but to play the part of the protagonist.
