Once a burly handsome himbo brute, Zayne suffered mortal injuries while protecting his then best friend Key from an explosion. He slipped into a coma for a few years where he paled and whithered, only to somehow be brought back to life once his clock ran out. He's suffered total amnesia, though he has various flashbacks that feel more like dreams which mean little or nothing to him.

After wandering the country for decades, living as a stray dog, he finds himself in Curiah City when the name stands out to him on a billboard. He's unsure why he's here, but he's hoping to find out.

Zayne is a human who's been trapped inside his dog form for nearly three decades. At first Zayne may seem agitated and aloof, but he's usually quick to show his goofy himbo side (whether intentional or not). He's social, but usually very bad at socializing. He tends to keep some doglike mannerisms, even in his more humanoid forms. This becomes worse the more stressed he gets; he may chew objects and furniture, eat everything (including garbage), whine and yowl, etc.
