Born of white hair and red eyes, Augustus became a prophet for the Buchan people. In his childhood, he was a quiet and sweet child that often hid behind his mother and rarely left her side. Because Regan gave in to his every desire, Augustus became spoiled and cruel and the sheltered state that he grew up in didn't help. He grew tired and bored of his solitude and turned to the skull of his uncle, Martell Buchanan, for company. He would speak to it like Martell was talking back. Many servants expressed their concerns about Augustus to both Ferdinand and Regan, but they were shut down. Soon Augustus would initiate cruelty on various wildlife, such as rats and birds, that would find their way stuck within the castle walls and/or gardens. He grew an appetite for blood and soon gained hemophilia. As he aged, he would abuse and torment the various servants of the castle who's pleas to Regan were never answered. Ferdinand eventually saw through the eyes of a father and began expressing concern and even attempted to discipline Augustus for his actions.
When Augustus reached his fourteenth nameday, Regan began plotting the death of Ferdinand with Augustus and it was soon carried out; putting Regan in power of the country.
