Nour is definitely a very charismatic person: he's calm and collected, knows how to handle crisis or pressure, yet remains a good-hearted man who treats everyone more than well. He looks confident, could probably inspire you courage just by standing next to you.
However, he's not that confident at all. The nudibranch is actually... Truly lacking confidence. He's very insecure, tries his best to always hide his vulnerability. This results in him being able to be quite dishonest, mostly when it comes to expressing his feelings. He tells lies as easily as he breathes if that's the cost of looking strong enough. He doesn't do so that often... As he doesn't especially like it. But it does happen regularly, way too regularly. He's pretty secretive.
Nour is also a very jealous person, probably because of his insecurity... But he makes a particular effort not to fuck shit up with that. He tries hard not to act upon his jealousy, not to hurt people. Indeed, he's more of a caring, nurturing figure, and he wouldn't want to hurt a fly.
The nudibranch is quite non-committal, as he's still quite scared of being hurt when he starts getting close (and therefore vulnerable) to someone new.
Despite all this, he truly enjoys company. He likes to hang around people and take care/pamper them. He also likes getting attention, as it reassures him a lot.
LIKES
Being perceived as a strong/reassuring/stable figure, pearlescent/holographic stuff, when people ask for hugs, being hit on (but it feels a bit bittersweet still), marine biology, chilling with the buddies, tummy kisses (mostly received) and hugs (mostly given), revealing fashion, being cute & surrounded by cute things while doing cute stuff, jogging pants
DISLIKES
People touching his rhinophores ("antennae"), being such a jealous person, showing weakness/vulnerability, dry environments, jeans et tight clothes in general, early commitment, shaving, watching shits go down without doing anything

Nour used to be much more expressive than he is nowaday. He's born and grew up in a port with his moms. Very early, he learned to be rather autonomous. He could tie any knot efficiently, climb fast on any part of the boat. He didn't grow up in the safest settings for a young kid (on a port near the dockyard...) but his mothers were watching over closely, and he turned out much alright. At the beginning at least.
As soon as he started going to school... It got bad. Unconfident, sensitive, very insecure, he's always been bullied at school. From the beginning to the end. It wasn't "so bad" (so to say) at the beginning... But it got very intense in high school and the moving: he was a bit at lost living fully on land for the first time, and had major anxiety back then.
As the bullying worsened for the teenager, who was far too kind and sometimes too naive to talk back, Nour started developing a severe depressive disorder. /!\... He started self-harming, leaving deep scars on his forearms. He didn't know if he wanted to feel alive or to die, but that was his brain's way of dealing with the abuse he was going through. Nour didn't feel worthy of respect or love, he didn't even feel worthy of being alive. .../!\
/!\... He got hospitalized after an almost "successful" suicide attempt. He instantly got taken out of school. When he came back from the hospital, he started taking online classes and one of his moms (who was a college graduate) started giving him additional classes whenever possible. .../!\
As he finished his highschool-equivalent schooling, Nour built up his mental defenses. He got better and decided not to let this happen again. He started working all around to feel better - and it mostly worked. However, he remained very stoic and inexpressive, and much more secretive than he's ever been before.
He found a little job as a sales assistant in a clothes store. In the meantime, he started studying biology at the university. His first year was a disaster, but he got back on his feet and passed the others with excellent grades. With his renewed motivation and an ever-growing passion for the scientific study of the marine life he grew up with, Nour entered a master's degree in marine biology and ecology.
He's living a good life, truly enjoying his studies and very attached to the new friends he made ever since he moved for college.
Trivia
- He likes to work out occasionally !! Put aside the general daily walking, he enjoys lifting and has a few weights in his flat (he borrows Manou's when he's spending the night at her flat). He does have a punching bag at home but doesn't use it excessively.
- Fantastic hug giver. His reputation precedes him wherever he goes.
- He wears pretty revealing clothes most most MOST of the time. He loves crop-tops and see-through fashion.
- He's pretty hairy since he doesn't shave.
- /!\ Self-harm TW /!\ He has self-harm scars on his arms. He doesn't like talking about it (at all) obviously, and even though everyone usually understands quickly, there are very few people to whom he actually told the story (even in parts).
- He dislikes having his face touched without very explicit consent but tolerates most kinds of contacts elsewhere. He's quite of a tactile person: even though he won't necessarily go ahead and initiate contact, he rarely minds being touched. The luckiest of all get to kiss his vast tit almost daily.
- However his rhinophores are a hard no: these organs sense particles in the air/water, and they're NOT made to have chemicals physically spread on them. The sensory overload can actually give him really bad headache.
- He sleeps better when he's with someone. Alone, he usually uses stuffed toys (big ones) or pillows. But nothing's quite as comfortable as holding someone and feeling their breathing/heartbeat.
- He can actually breathe underwater, but he mostly lives on land. His gills are located on his tail.

- Used to work as a sales assistant in a clothes store, but stopped when he entered in the master he aimed at. Your man's got some opinions on fashion though !!
- He's on Grindr, but he's never really online. If he ever has a hookup, that's usually after a party or something.

Powers & abilities
Nour can breathe underwater as stated earlier. His tail (where his gills are located - near the tentacles) is big enough to offer a sufficient surface for autonomous breathing: he doesn't need to go back to the surface to get atmospheric oxygen.
RELATIONSHIPS
"Cool kids !! Doesn't always sound like it, but I"m glad to know them. They're amazing, the best friends someone could dream off."
Manou and Camiel were around his first friends when he moved for his studies. He met them on the campus. He might not sound the most enthusiastic, but Nour truly appreciates the two disasters. Even if they set pasta on fire, even if he already had to negotiate with the police to cover them, even if... Y'know. They're just really great. He knows they got his back. He actually got their back as well.
"She's a bit of a bully sometimes, and a lot of a mess most of the time. She's really great. I love her company, it's super nice to chill together. 'Love the intimacy. 'Love the clingy lady who could benchpress me if she wanted to."
What are they ?? Best friend ?? Dating ?? Crushing ?? Just comfy which each other ?? Who knows (and who cares). It feels nice to be with her.

His two moms and two sisters (who are twins), whom he loves so much. They lost in touch a bit as he grew up, but they are still in contact. It's a fantastic family, and he's more than happy to be part of it.
