Proto Magica, the mysterious and esteemed face of Zephyr’s Dreams, is a wonder in terms of skill, sleight of hand, balance, and charisma. They work for a traveling circus who’s touring ring spans past Japan, into the US and even Europe! Becoming a mascot-like character over the past couple years, they're the loyal right hand to Kimiko Otsuka, the ringmaster. They have their own segment in the show devoted to dangerous magic tricks, along with making appearances in other acts. Trapezing, animal training, fire breathing--nothing is beyond them!
Despite working for the famous circus for years, very few people are privy to the identity of the star performer. They were originally intended to be a replacement for Masuno Kojuro, who possessed a similar amount of skill, and his performing partner Emi Hisakawa. After Masuno was arrested on account of the attempted murder of Akimasa Otsuka, he was bailed out for mental health reasons, then proceeded to vanish after release from a youth facility. After the last two years have borne no fruit in finding him, Proto Magica has gone from a temporary replacement to a shining star! May their smile and skill continue to light up the hearts of millions!
