Reavekin

Reavekin is a demon cat with glowing red eyes and sharp fangs. He has large tufted, ribbed ears, sharp claws, and a very long whip-like tail. He has darker fur on his face but lighter faint purple fur on the rest of his body with darker stripes. His shoulder and hips have a few small spines growing out of them. He has very oddly shaped and leathery wings that almost appear tattered. They are capable of flight, but they cannot support his body well. Instead, he uses his wings to boost himself up to ledges or across walls while climbing.

He has very poor eyesight in broad daylight and avoids standing in direct sun. The bright lights cause headaches and can stun him. Any kind of Light spell tends to have the same effect.

Reavekin does not wear any accessories or clothing.

Being a demon, Reavekin has some demonic powers, but he rarely uses them. He isn't much of a fighter and knows almost no offensive spells; his speciality is illusion magic.

Reavekin is a very cunning demon who isn't above taking advantage of others if it means an easy way out or a quick profit. He always looks for a way to get others to do his dirty work, and he avoids as much heavy lifting as possible. The only people spared from his generally selfish ways are his higher-ups and very few friends. He makes a lot of jokes and likes to tease both his friends and enemies.

Reavekin's specialities are stealth and espionage. He's often one of the brains behind a lot of his superior's choices, and he knows how to sway their opinions with ease. He is a fairly skilled strategist and is very good at putting people's strengths to use when put in charge, but he prefers to take a back seat in groups. He'd rather kick back, let everybody else do the heavy lifting, and watch the show.

Reavekin isn't the best at solving conflicts, however, and often makes situations worse when he talks. He lacks tact and is always so brutally honest when he speaks. If someone does or says something he doesn't agree with, he sees no problem in calling them out over it, even if they happen to be a 10-foot towering monster that could kill him at any moment. It's partially why he hangs around his friends and relies on them do all the talking instead. He's aware that he can be a bit of a jerk at times. His friends often have to save him from any graves he digs.

He doesn't see a problem in taking and devouring any wandering souls in the mountains. As far as he's concerned, the world's already too crowded with people, anyways. Plus, he's convinced demons don't get an afterlife once they die. If someone wanted his soul in the end, he wouldn't care.

Reavekin isn't very popular with other demons at home, so he spends more time outside of the city walls and in the mountains. Because he works as a scout for the demonic army, he's free to enter and leave the kingdom as he pleases. He socializes with other fellow demons and even angels who live beyond the walls.

Unlike most demons, he doesn't dislike angels, but he'd never admit that back home. He's well-aware of the war and their species' past conflicts, but he sympathizes for the angels who have been abandoned by their god.

Reavekin currently resides in the Demonic Kingdom, where he works as scout for the demonic army. Nobody knows where he even lives, but he probably has a house somewhere...

...or maybe he just crashes at Moloch's place all the time.

Reavekin was born a half-demon and lived most of his childhood among the more aggressive demons. High content demons were often revered or outright feared by the lesser demons, so he didn't have many friends.
(NOTE: With how demon genetics work on my world, Reaves is still classed as a full demon. They often mean "weak" when they call other demons "half-demons." He is a lesser demon, as both of his parents had weaker magic. Only demons born of royal or powerful heritage would ever be considered "high content.")
(NOTE NOTE: Yes, there can be half-demons born with powers great enough to rival even the strongest demons, but Reaves is not the character for that info. lol)

He spent most of his time trying to swindle people out of their hard-earned coin and begged for food, instead of actually trying to find any work.

Eventually, on one of his scouting missions, Reavekin met Vanthiel, an angel. They ended up getting along, and Reaves began to realize he didn't really hate angels as he thought. Their friendship remained a secret between just them, until he accidentally mentioned Van to Moloch, a fellow half-demon in the army.
