莫原志/ Mo Yuanzhi
Orphaned as a child , Mo Yuanzhi was the only survivor found amidst the ruins. He was taken in by the righteous Cangxuan Sect out of a mix of pity and suspicion. - Soul Scouring Echo (魂蚀回响, Hún Shí Huíxiǎng): A forbidden technique he unknowingly developed. It allows him to leave a fragment of his consciousness on things or people he has a strong connection to. This is how he survived Lan Qiren's initial attack—the echo anchored his soul and pulled it back through time. In the second timeline, he learns to control it, using it to spy on Lan Qiren and gather information.
