【Musharna】
Starter Pokemon
Munna was given to Igakki as a licensed therapy Pokemon in hopes that she could quell his nightmares to make things a bit more liveable for him. Expectedly, Munna was excellent at her job and was soon able to quell even the stray paranoid thought when she deemed it had gotten out of hand. She's been around long enough to have evolved to Musharna, and continues to dutifully serve solely as a therapy Pokemon. Despite this she would most definitely fight for her trainer if it came to it. |
【Sylveon】
Second Pokemon
Eevee was initially the family Pokemon, raised only to be a domestic creature rather than stray from the household or embark on any grand adventures. As such he's rather spoiled in behavior but aches to see a bit more of the world. Eevee would sometimes go on short expeditions with both Noriko and Igakki in their early teenage years, getting a feel for the world around it and no longer caring much for the confines of the household on its own. When Igakki was sent to be a researcher into the mythos that surrounded the Pokemon world, Eevee was formally given to him by his father in the hopes that it would aid him if neccesary. Over time Eevee had gained a stronger attachment to the younger Shantaji twin, and evolved to its current form. |
【Rapidash (Galarian)】
Third Pokemon
Rapidash was gifted to Igakki by his father alongside Eevee. Though once belonging to his mother, his father finally decided to dust off the old pokeball and give it to his son for his travels. At first the Pokemon had been ornery and confused by it's re-entry to the world and its newfound trainer, though the two grew close with enough time during their travels. It helped that Rapidash had been able to identify Igakki as close to its former trainer, a person that the Pokemon still misses dearly. Whatever the case, Rapidash is easily the most powerful Pokemon on Igakki's team, serving as an avid protector. |
【Aurorus】
Fourth Pokemon
Amaura was given to Igakki soon after being revitalized from a fossil, deemed by local researchers that there was no better person for the Pokemon to travel with than a trainer investing himself into old mythos and legend. Initially Igakki was frightened by the small dinosaur-like Pokemon due to a lack of knowledge on its history or behaviors, but he soon came to understand she was akin to a particularly affectionate puppy. Amaura evolved to Aurorus with time, with Igakki documenting the nature of her behaviors and changes. She's considered to be a more proficient fighter among the team, much like Rapidash. |
【Indeedee】
Fifth Pokemon
Indeedee serves as a personal helper and assistant to Igakki, entirely of her own volition. In truth, Igakki hasn't even captured Indeedee in a Pokeball, she simply accompanied him on his travels after stumbling across the boy in the field midst his researcher. At first he was terrified that the Pokemon had resorted to following him wherever he went, though he's gotten much more familiar with her presence, even though she hasn't officially been caught. The both of them seem assured that no such thing would even be neccesary. |
【Corsola (Galarian)】
Sixth Pokemon
Whilst investigating Manaphy on the beaches of Sinnoh, Igakki's Amaurus was quick to discover the battered form of a Corsola washed up on the beach. Unfamiliar with the qualities of the particularly Corsola and sure that it wasn't from the region they were occupying, Igakki was hesitate to mess with the creatue at all. Amaurus' pleads eventually won out and Igakki gathered both his supplies and the wounded Corsola for travel to a Pokecenter, where it was then revitalized. Corsola has since decided to tag along with Igakki, though he's still somewhat frightened by the creature. |
Notes
Igakki Shantaji comes from a relatively humble family, with the exception of his twin sister who happens to be one of Kanto's Gym Leaders. He's since embarked on his own journey around the Pokemon world with the help of the team that had been majority gifted to him, searching for evidence and clues of legendary mythos. He hasn't made much of a name for himself as of yet but he happens to prefer it this way as he's sure fame would be too much stress for him and his current work.
- About half of Igakki's team is unsuited for battle, whilst the other half was practically built for it.
- Igakki is very knowledgable about Legendary Pokemon and their origins, something that he's come to figure out with time.
- Has an interest in manmade Pokemon as well as those with completely unfamiliar origin.
- Despite the fact mentioned above, Igakki is completely terrified by Unown. He is able to competently read them, though.
- He's most afraid of Dragon and Ghost type Pokemon, often fleeing whenever in the presence of them.
