He holds himself to high standards and therefore is often the embodiment of a polite, courteous individual. He speaks little if at all, and when he does, his words are measured to match the situation. His speech is strange to some, as he either communicates telepathically or in a broken, strained and quiet voice. He generates a feeling of calm around him and often has a level gaze that seems to both see through his subject or see it in its entirety. He is observant, intelligent and prone to helping others. Xanith struggles with his desire to remain distant and unaffected by time and those who traverse it. Inversely, he also wishes his existence to mean something and he constantly chases the idea that he will eventually find a way to fit into the grand scheme. He devotes himself to preparedness - he is constantly strengthening himself, meditating or pursuing some other form of activity that would inform him of the world. He is curious, capable and formidable. He admires individualism, freedom, kindness, and diplomacy.
An impressively tall man, Xanith Kivhel is difficult to miss in a crowd. His hair is a shock of silver-gray fluff, undercut by a stark black. His brows, thick, angled and clean, are marked by small chips near the bridge of his nose. His face is an enigma hidden behind a thick black fabric. A grey metal respirator, or ventilator, covers over his nose and mouth, even capping his chin and appearing to flow halfway back into his jawline which is strong and angled, despite being mostly obscure. His eyes are a calm and tired seafoam green under typical circumstances, but when the moment strikes they come alive with an impeccable focus. His shoulders are broad and strong, his waist tapering inwards to give him an inverted, triangular torso followed by a pair of strong, lithe legs. His clothing varies, though typically he chooses a combination of loose fabric, form-fitting armor, metal, or casual garments. He has also been known to wear a custom-tailored jacket with simple pants and boots. He favors fingerless or full gloves and rarely has his hands bare when working or traveling.
Xanith's history is varied and mostly unknown to him, seeing as he has lived for ages and ages. He is aware of each span of life, though segments become faded over time. Most of his efforts meditating are done so in order to regain knowledge of his past experiences. Depending on the universe, these experiences are unique. The central point of his character regardless of era, alternate universe or timeline, is that he has been purposefully bonded with an organism that responds to his genetic code alone. It grows with him, regenerates his injuries and keeps him in a constant state of health. He gives him extreme strength, causes him great degenerative pain, and sometimes even alters his emotional state or causes him to fall into a hibernation or 'death' in order to recuperate. It will always, however, attempt and usually succeed in resurrecting its host. [W I P]
