Story:

Was born into a well-off family, but wound up making the wrong friends in middle school, and was part of a gang in high school. A particularly violent skirmish in his junior year lead to permanent damage to his left eye. His parents, after finding out about this, sent him to a boarding school in a country far away from home in an attempt to eliminate any influence his gang membership would have on his future prospects, including his wellbeing as well as getting a good job. However, this did not end up well as being away from the people he once knew made him extremely lonely, and at his new school was known as a bully. Despite being slow to anger, his emotional instability caused him to be labelled as a monster and outcast from his classmates. Eventually, he trudged on and completed high school, despite being constantly ashamed of his behavior and his appearance. He cut off contact with his parents, who expected him to excel in his new school, not wanting them to know that not only was he not a high-performing student, but also that he had been put on a permanent record for his behavior that would likely decrease if not eliminate his chances of making it into a high-tier university. He made a mask so that none of his former classmates or acquaintances would recognize him, and disappeared off the grid. He made his way around working odd jobs under a fake name. His luck suddenly changed for the better while he was working as a receptionist at a small martial arts center, when the grandmaster decided to take him under his wing and teach him how to fight- properly. He went on to win several martial arts competitions, bringing in lots of attention. He received an offer one day from a crime-fighting organization who thought that his skills in combat and understanding of weaponry could be useful to them. With the offer of a stable job, he couldn't refuse. Residing not too far away from the martial arts center, he still learns martial arts under the grandmaster when not assigned a mission.
